17th Expo coming — HMPRO will host its 17th Homepro Expo and invest Bt120mn in the event, while also bringing in 300 partners and offering discounts of up to 80%. The company expects sales of over Bt650 from the event. (ASTV Manager, 06/03/13)

KLAND steps up expansion- Krungthep Land Plc (KLAND) will this year launch new phases as well as new property projects worth a combined Bt11.9bn. (Bangkok Post, 06/03/13)


To spend Bt400-500mn to add 28-30 stores — OFM says that it plans to invest Bt400-500mn this year to increase the number of its stores by 28-30; 10 of the stores will be Office Mate, while the rest will be B2S outlets. It will invest Bt10-15mn per store, including an online system – a continuation of last year’s investment. (Krungthep Turakij, 06/03/13)

Comment: Whats far more impressive with this company is the way Central Group is able to feed through its products through OFM’s online platform thus allowing sales and profitability to shoot through the roof as seen by last year’s numbers, we absolutely missed this one ><


No more FX losses — PF confirms that there will be no more exchange losses in 1Q13 after covering 90% of its exposure. It expects to book profit of Bt70-80mn from its Japanese resort investment this quarter. It also wants to set up a property fund worth Bt1.1bn by April and is confident that revenues this year will reach Bt15bn, up 40% YoY, pulling its D/E down to 1.5x from 2.0x.
