Comment: This company has grown with Thailand’s upcountry growth in the past few years, I can’t really believe rumours that they are supporting the protests at all.

GLAND

GLAND expects to set up a property fund worth Bt4bn in 1Q14. It has already filed with the SEC. It said that its condo, “Belle Avenue Rama 9 Phase 2”, will be ready for transfer this year, while its Unilever office will be complete and transfer in 4Q14. Revenues for 2013 are expected to exceed Bt5bn. (Khao Hoon, 23/01/14)

SOLAR will expand into “European-Japanese” markets as it says that Thailand still has a greater advantage from tax benefits. Revenues from exports are expected to grow by at least 50% this year. The company points out that global demand currently stand at 50,000MW. (Khao Hoon, 23/01/14)

SPCG

SPCG confident it will start selling electricity from all 36 solar farms in March. Its solar roof top project has also started delivering revenues. Revenues and earnings this year are expected to jump. (Khao Hoon, 23/01/14)
