BBL
Management says BBL targets 600,000 new credit cards this year with 200,000 credit cards approved for the first four months of the year. Credit card spending grew 13-14%, close to its target of 15% and greater than market growth of 8-10%. It will keep NPLs under 2%. (Khao Hoon, 03/06/15)
CNT
It is confident 2015 performance will show a net profit from 2014’s net loss of Bt353.4mn after the company changed its strategy to focus on public projects with higher gross margin. It plans to set up a firm in Myanmar for construction jobs. (Thun Hoon, 03/06/15)

Comment: mono’s business model is to outspend everyone on movies and sport content and pray that they can achieve high enough ad ratings
IVL

PCA expects robust 2Q15 earnings. It is confident that the telecommunications and TV digital system management business will continue to grow. It expects 2015 revenue growth of 15-20%. (Khao Hoon, 03/06/15)

RS plans roadshow to foreign institutions. It is confident the media business will continue to trend up, making it attractive to foreign institutions. Its digital TV Channel 8 has reached fourth ranking. (Khao Hoon, 03/06/15)
Comment: I’ve always liked RS, but the situation in the digital tv industry is scary @ the moment. Perhaps all this -ve news will lead to an opportunity to pick up some names on the cheap.
