Comment: We do wonder aloud if EPG will continue on its acquisition spree given that it has SCB’s backing

IRPC
IRPC expects 2Q15 earnings to mark a record high of Bt4bn (2000% growth). It expects market GIM (gross integrated margin) to be higher than US$13, which benefits the refinery and petrochemical businesses. (Khao Hoon, 16/07/15)

LDC
LDC expects 2017 revenue of Bt1bn with 5% net margin backed by doubling its number of branches. It plans to expand abroad. It is confident 2015 revenue will grow 10% as targeted. (Thun Hoon, 16/07/15)

QTC
QTC expects revenue to grow 63% this year and 71% next year. It expects to show a net profit in 2Q15 and for growth to continue to rise in 2H15 with a Bt480mn backlog. (Thun Hoon, 16/07/15)
Comment: 80% linked to government spending and 20% linked to overseas customers.

RICH
RICH is talking to a prospective Chinese partner to get the job of managing water resources in the central and south region, expected to be concluded in 3Q15. It expects to do a JV with a contractor to bid for government infrastructure projects. It plans to acquire a power plant to add revenue. (Thun Hoon, 16/07/15)

SAMCO
SAMCO plans to introduce two low rise projects at Chaiyapruek-Ramintra worth Bt2bn. It believes this is a good location. (Khao Hoon, 16/07/15)

SCC
SCC expects 2Q15 net profit of Bt10.23bn (+20%YoY) backed by recovery in cement and construction and material sales. It benefits from low oil prices, which have cut costs for its petrochemical business. It expects to benefit from government investment throughout the rest of the year. (Khao Hoon, 16/07/15)

SPALI
SPALI plans to open Supalai Ville Chonburi, valued at Bt975mn, on July 25-26. It is confident Chonburi has high potential. (Khao Hoon, 16/07/15)

SRICHA
SRICHA got a Bt1bn job which lifts backlog to Bt2bn. 2Q15 profit is expected to double from 1Q15. It plans to pay an interim dividend next month. (Khao Hoon, 16/07/15)

SUSCO
SUSCO plans to expand into ASEAN. It is looking for a partner to open more service stations as demand increases. It expects sales to grow 8-10% this year. A property company is interested in buying 1bn rai of land, which will give it extra gain. (Thun Hoon, 16/07/15)
Comment: I have my doubts on their ability to do this, their balance sheet is far too small. If you want a decent petrol station player, look no further than PTG

TKS
TKS is talking to a prospective Japanese partner to invest in the packaging business. This is expected to be finalized in 3Q15. It expects to finish the acquisition of a packaging firm in 4Q15. 2H15 performance is expected to be better than 1H15 backed by special government projects. (Khao Hoon, 16/07/15)

TMT
TMT expects 2Q15 earnings to be good aided by increasing gross margin from 6-7% in 1Q15 to 8%. Management is confident steel sales growth will be higher than 15%. (Thun Hoon, 16/07/15)

TPOLY
TPOLY expects performance to turn around this year after restructuring its organization. Its backlog is Bt5-6bn and it expects to bid for more. It plans to launch “Greenrich”, worth Bt750mn, soon. (Khao Hoon, 16/07/15)

TRUE
TRUE expects 2Q15 performance to show a net profit of Bt460mn, up from 2Q14’s net loss of Bt1.74bn, backed by extra gain from sale of assets to TRUEIF. Revenue (excluding IC) grew 17%. (Khao Hoon, 16/07/15)

TTW
TTW expects 2015 revenue to grow 5-10%. It expects to construct a Bt400mn tap water facility in Myanmar in 2016. It is confident it will not be affected by the drought. (Khao Hoon, 16/07/15)
Comment: TTW has been thinking about expanding in Myanmar for the past decade, great to see them able to achieve this.

  1. BJCHI: 2 emails later, unable to get any response from IR as to when the estimated date for releasing Q2 2015 earnings. Anyone else have an idea as to when? Thanks! Don
