ADVANC reports more than 500,000 of its 2G clients have upgraded to 3G. It aims at getting more than 10mn 4G users from 4.4mn now. It has budgeted of Bt40bn to expand its business in 2016. (Kao Hoon, 29/2/16)

BBL
BBL announces a full-year dividend of Bt6.50/share. (Thun Hoon, 29/2/16)

BEAUTY
BEAUTY reported net profit in 2015 of Bt402.5mn, up 33.65% supported by total revenue growth of 29.36% to Bt1.79mn from expanding its branches. It will pay a dividend in 2H16 of Bt0.83/share, XD on April 28. (Kao Hoon, 29/2/16)
Comment: And they keep growing!

BEM
BEM reported 2015 net profit of Bt2.65bn supported by higher toll and fare revenue. It had total revenue of Bt13.1bn with total assets of Bt78bn. It will pay a dividend of Bt0.07/share. (Thun Hoon, 29/2/16)
Comment: At what point will BEM do what BTS did and spin off the assets to an infrastructure REIT?

BSM
BSM sets target revenue at Bt700mn in 2016 and Bt800-900mn in 2017 supported by booking revenue from its resort at Hua Hin. It has budgeted Bt500mn for investment. It plans to increase capital via a rights offering, getting shareholder approval at the April 28 meeting. (Kao Hoon, 29/2/16)

CSS
CSS targets revenue growth of 15-20% to Bt5.3bn, supported by 4G network jobs. It reported 2015 net profit of Bt248mn, up 6% and total revenue of Bt4.57bn, up 14%. It will pay a dividend of Bt0.10/share, XD on April 21. (Kao Hoon, 29/2/16)

EA
EA reported net profit of Bt2.69bn, up 67% on booking revenue from its renewable energy business. It expects growth in 1Q16 upon booking revenue from a solar farm in Lampang and startup of electricity production of 90MW in Pitsanulok. (Kao Hoon, 29/2/16)
Comment: No surprise here. They are just continuing on their path of getting everything online.

MC
MC expects sales growth 15% in 2016, supported by expanding branches. It reported net profit of Bt732mn, an increase of 3%, and sales of Bt3.9bn, growth of 12%. It will pay a dividend of Bt0.40/share, XD on April 28. (Kao Hoon, 29/2/16)
Comment: I don’t like their inventory turnover, seems to be worsening every quarter…

ORI
ORI expects a good property business in 1Q16 supported by government stimulus. It plans to launch a new project, Notting Hill, at three sites, worth a total of Bt4bn. It expects to launch new projects in 2016 worth Bt10bn with presales of Bt7.5bn. (Thun Hoon, 29/2/16)

PTT
PTT is confident that 2016 net profit will be better than last year. If oil price stands above US$20, it will not have to book asset impairment. It has set a five-year investment budget of Bt300bn. (Kao Hoon, 29/2/16)

SMPC
SMPC expects 2016 net profit to be better than 2015’s Bt447mn. It targets 2016 sales growth of 15-20%. It expects Bt900mn backlog to be booked in 1Q16. It is budgeting Bt300mn to invest and to acquire a company abroad to set up an LPG cylinder plant. (Khao Hoon, 29/02/16)

SRICHA
SRICHA will pay dividend of Bt1.5/share despite a drop in 2015 net profit of Bt339mn from the economic slowdown and delay in power investment. (Khao Hoon, 29/02/16)

SVI
SVI reported 2015 net profit of Bt2.02bn from 2014’s net loss of Bt304mn aided by Bt1.64bn compensation and Bt8.11bn in sales. It expects 2016 revenue to be good backed by full operations. (Thun Hoon, 29/02/16)
Comment: So now the question is, how quickly can they ramp up production back to pre-fire times and when can they turnaround the new business/company in Europe?

TACC
TACC reported 2015 net profit of Bt67.95mn (+31%). It expects 2016 revenue to grow not less than 15% backed by launching new high margin products. It plans to set up 740 soft drink dispensers in 7-Eleven stores. (Khao Hoon, 29/02/16)

TRUE
TRUE says it is ready to invest in 900MHz on 4G. It has signed contracts with six commercial banks for its Bt75bn bank guarantee. (Khao Hoon, 29/02/16)

UV
UV reported 2015 net profit of Bt630.94mn (+47.16%) with Bt13.26bn in revenue (+45%). It will pay dividend of Bt0.11/share, XD on Mar 9. (Khao Hoon, 29/02/16)

  1. Hi Pon.

    I own BEM shares. If they spin their assets into a REIT fund then we foreigners can’t own BEM’s REIT fund or any other REIT funds for that matter and expect to receive the dividend payment here in Thailand. Foreigners are not allowed to receive the dividends from any REIT funds period. Any idea on when we foreigners will be allowed to own REIT funds and be able to collect the dividend payment?

    1. BEM won’t spin off its assets into a REIT but rather an infrastructure fund similar to BTSGIF. You are correct in that the same rules apply regarding foreign ownership however. This most definitely will not change pre-elections.

      As for the dividend payment, it will be BEM that will pay a higher dividend after listing BEMIF on the market. I had a position in BECL since before the merger, and will hold it at least until after BEMIF and BMN (BEM’s VGI) are listed.
