ATP
ATP targets 2016 revenue of Bt310mn (15% growth). It is talking with four clients, with a decision expected by 2Q16. This will increase its clients to 30. It has put off its plan to acquire a hazardous waste handler. (Khao Hoon, 18/03/16)

COLOR
COLOR targets 2016 revenue to grow 7-8%, backed by numerous orders. It expects exports to comprise 20%, focusing on ASEAN, Australia, and Europe. (Khao Hoon, 18/03/16)

GUNKUL

INET
INET expects to benefit from government IT plans in 2Q16 including village internet, digital economy, 4G, and educational and corporate Internet. Comment: The digital economy story has gone quiet for a while but companies such as INET, ILINK and even WHA are going ahead with building data centers.

JAS
JAS hints it will pay 4G licence fee. JAS Mobile Broadband has informally assured the telecom regulator it is ready to pay the licence fee for its fourth-generation (4G) business by Monday’s deadline, saying it will submit the official confirmation letter to the telecom regulator today. JMT
JMT plans to acquire Bt15bn bundles of debt that will raise its portfolio from Bt85bn. It believes this will cover revenue for the next ten years. It plans to start its Bt2bn personal loan extension this year, with profit next year. It targets 2016 revenue growth of 30% aided by debt collection and new business. (Thun Hoon, 18/03/16)

KTIS
KTIS is budgeting Bt70mn to invest in packaging machines to increase the efficiency of bagasse production. It expects this to contribute revenue in 2Q16. (Khao Hoon, 18/03/16)

NCL
NCL plans to set up branches in Indonesia and Philippines to increase exports to 50%. It expects to show a net profit this year. It expects 2016 revenue to grow not less than 30%. It expects 1Q16 earnings to be good. (Thun Hoon, 18/03/16)

PHOL
PHOL expects 1Q16 earnings to be good, especially from Pholwater Company LTD, which has a community water project. This project raised its backlog to 300mn. It plans to take part in additional community water projects. It expects 2016 revenue to grow not less than 30%. (Thun Hoon, 18/03/16)

PTG

Comment: And its a scale effect still for PTG, I do wonder about the additional projects such as the Palm Complex

RICHY
RICHY reports Bt400mn presales for its two new projects: 1) The Rich@ Nana, 2) Rich Park@ Triple Station at the 34th House and Condo Show. (Khao Hoon, 18/03/16)

SENA
SENA is budgeting Bt3.5bn to increase its solar capacity. It targets its capacity to reach 100MW within three years. It expects this to contribute Bt400mn/year. It plans to list SENA Solar Energy in 2017. (Thun Hoon, 18/03/16)
Comment: They’ve been talking about this since early 2015, this would should change the way investors look at this business

SINGER
SINGER expects 2016 net margin of 6.5-7%, which is better than last year. It plans to talk with JMART’s major shareholders to manage bad its debt. It is confident 2016 revenue will grow 10- 15%. It plans to open 15 SG Power shops, with the first store opening in April. (Khao Hoon, 18/03/16)
Comment: We can see the synergies between JMART and SINGER but this will take years to materialise.

TKN
Singapore institutional investors are interested in TKN shares because of its strong fundamentals and good financial performance. It plans to expand abroad to where exports comprise 50%. It is budgeting Bt500mn to invest in a new plant. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 15%. (Thun Hoon, 18/03/16)

TMILL
TMILL expects 2016 revenue to grow 10% from increasing capacity at Phase 2 at its wheat flour plant. It expects its utilization rate to increase to 75% from 65% last year. (Khao Hoon, 18/03/16)

VGI
VGI has budgeted Bt412.5mn to purchase 12.46% of MACO shares at a price of Bt1.1/share, giving it a total stake of 37.42%. It is budgeting Bt2.07bn to do a tender offer for the rest (62.58%). It expects the M&A to be done in July. It expects 2017 revenue to achieve Bt3.1bn. (Khao Hoon, 18/03/16)
Comment: It does appear that the founders of MACO have decided to take an early retirement.

XO
XO expects 2016 earnings to be good. It expects its new plants will be operational in 3Q16, doubling its capacity. This plant will be for high-margin products. It reduced its revenue portion in euro to 12% from 72% and increased its revenue baht to 57% and in US$ to 31%. It expects this to lower currency fluctuation. (Post Today, 18/03/16)
Comment: That is a huge decrease in sales to Europe, we’ll be paying close attention to what they say during their opp day.

  1. Has to be the biggest rabbit out of hat pulled since, ever actually. Very interested to see which Bank has stupidly put their hat into the ring, very nervous as I’m holding significant positions in a couple of the large Thai banks (BBL especially).

  2. Seems like the market has not reacted to this information at all judging by the trading patterns and pricing. Maybe Takorn’s words have lost credibility after his handling of the auctions.
