BIG
BIG got good response to the BIG Camera-BIG Festival event. This led sales up 30-40% YoY. It targets 2016 revenue growth of no less than 10%. It plans to increase its share of the high-end camera market to 65% from 55%. (Thun Hoon, 08/04/16)

EFORL targets 2016 revenue of Bt5bn with net profit margin of 10%. It expects this to be mainly driven by being a distributor of medical instruments and apparatus and health and beauty business. Comment: This company has been experiencing growing pains, they expanded stores tremendously in the past 6 years and then in the first 3-4 years had a decent SSSG until the last few years where they have struggled. If you believe the consumer is going to start spending $ that they don’t have they JUBILE may be one of your best bets.

* Thailand’s Consumer Prices Continue to Fall in March — The country’s headline consumer price index dropped 0.46% in March from the previous year, easing slightly from the 0.50% on-year fall in February, data from the ministry showed. However, the March CPI edged up 0.21% from the previous month, accelerating from a 0.15% on-month rise in February. Thailand’s March core inflation reading, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, was 0.75% on-year and 0.01% on-month. The core CPI result almost matched the poll’s forecasts for a 0.8% on-year rise and a 0.05% on-month increase. (Nasdaq, 1/4/16)
