KBANK will open a branch in Shanghai by the end of 2016. It is looking for a chance to expand its branches in ASEAN. It is confident that 2016 loan growth will hit its targeted 6-7% even if it did not report growth in 1Q16. (Thun Hoon, 31/03/16)
KIAT
KIAT is negotiating to acquire a business and will undertake a joint venture with 3-4 partners. It expects to decide on 1-2 partners in 2016. It targets revenue growth of 7% from 2015. It is bidding for new jobs and expects to finish the deal in 2Q16. (Thun Hoon, 31/03/16)
Comment: I’ve always liked KIAT’s core business model, very straight forward cash flows
MACO
MACO expanding out-of-home media to ASEAN. It has plans to bring technology to link advertising with online consumers. (Kao Hoon, 31/03/16)
Comment: Perhaps its a positive development to see that the founder has stepped down and some fresh management can drive this business towards it potential, just look at how PLANB has performed.
ORI
ORI expects revenue in 1Q16 of Bt1bn. It plans to places a condo with 1,000 units worth Bt1.3bn in the government’s program. It is confident revenue will reach Bt4bn. (Kao Hoon, 31/03/16)

PLANB board approved a budget of Bt40mn to acquire Tuna Advertising Co., Ltd. This will increase media in airports to 28 areas nationwide. It expects ready-to-sell media in airports to increase to Bt200mn in 2016. (Kao Hoon, 31/03/16)

PTT budgeted of Bt9.9bn to increase its ability to import, distribute and transport, the LIFE Project. (Kao Hoon, 31/03/16)
STEC
