ATP30 expects to get Bt500mn in projects, with finalization in August. It expects this to increase revenue by 30%. It targets 2016 revenue to grow 15% to Bt300mn supported by large orders and cost control. (Thun Hoon, 17/08/16)
BANPU
BANPU has set its five year investment plan at US$557mn, with a focus on the power business. It expects net profit to return to the black this year with an EBITDA of US$500mn. It plans to implement cost control as well as improve production and logistics efficiency. It expects coal price to be better in 2H16 and for the coal business to contribute revenue of US$2.2bn. CHOW
CHOW reported significant earnings growth in 1H16 backed by recovery in the steel industry and its Japan power plant. It expects 2016 revenue to be good brought by steel business and power business, of which 80MW is being constructed. (Thun Hoon, 17/08/16)

CK plans to take part in Bt300bn bids and expects to get 20-25% of its bids. It expects 3Q16 performance to be better than 2Q16 as it expects to book revenue of Bt70bn. (Thun Hoon, 17/08/16)

COLOR
COLOR targets market share of 20-25% in 2H16 and expects exports to comprise 18-20%. It plans to expand its warehouse by 5,000sqm in order to handle 15,000-20,000 capacity, with completion by the end of this year. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 7-8% as targeted. (Thun Hoon, 17/08/16)
CWT
CWT expects 2016 revenue to be above Bt1.5bn brought by large orders from auto producers and dog chews manufacturers. It is dealing for new model cars both at home and abroad, and hopes this will push up its backlog from Bt700mn. It expects to complete a deal for a waste power plant in the north in 4Q16. EPCO reported 1H16 net profit of Bt180mn, up 31%. It will pay an interim dividend of Bt0.08/share and plans to ask board approval for EPCO-W2. JSP

JWD
JWD plans to spend Bt1.5bn to acquire a refrigerated warehouse business in Malaysia and expects the deal to be concluded in August. (Kao Hoon, 17/08/16)

HTC expects 2H16 earnings to be good after 1H16 revenue growth reached 13% from the launch of new products. It expects 2016 net profit to mark a record high after 1H16 net profit reached Bt171mn. It expects gross margin to increase to 30% backed by more capacity for PET. (Thun Hoon, 17/08/16 )
KTC
KTC raised its profit target to 15-20%. It is confident that profit will record a new high due to cost reduction. The company will hold a roadshow in September. (Kao Hoon, 17/08/16)
LALIN
LALIN reported 1H16 presales of Bt2bn. It also plans to launch four new projects, which it expects will raise presales in 2H16. It expects 2016 revenue to reach Bt2.4bn backed by Bt950mn transfers. It will pay a dividend of Bt0.125/share. (Thun Hoon, 17/08/16)
MAX
MAX expects 2016 net profit to be back to the black this year from 2015 net loss of Bt15.11mn brought by the power business. It plans to acquire more power plants in order to support revenue growth. It also looking for property projects to invest in. (Thun Hoon, 17/08/16)

NCL reported 2Q16 net profit of Bt8.38mn from a net loss of Bt31.72mn in 2Q15, growing more than 126.41% with 1H16 net profit of Bt7.34mn. It is confident that 2H16 will continue to grow, supported by more customers and a subsidiary. (Thun Hoon, 17/08/16)
SAPPE
SAPPE spent Bt140mn to acquire 40% of “All COCO” which expects to expand its portfolio and provide sustainable growth in the future. It targets revenue of Bt500mn in 2019 and maintains its target of 2016 revenue growth of 15%. (Kao Hoon, 17/08/16)
Comment: I don’t know much about this COCO but it looks like it should add some value to SAPPE according to the market…
 
SOLAR
SOLAR posted 2Q16 net profit of Bt13.56mn from 2Q15 net loss of Bt36.32mn. It expects its performance to be good aided by Bt1.7bn in backlog and its solar farm project. (Thun Hoon, 17/08/16)

TK

TKN increased target 2016 revenue growth to 25% from 10-15% due to high season. It has budgeted of Bt30mn to support Thailand Football to upgrade the brand and expand its customer base nationwide. (Kao Hoon, 17/08/16)
TSTH
TSTH sets FY16/17 steel volume sales at 1.2mn tons or growth of 8-10% due to a focus on the export market, especially Australia and New Zealand. It expects to buy machines to increase its capacity to 120k tons/year. (Kao Hoon, 17/08/16)

UAC
UAC reported 6M16 revenue of Bt737mn and Bt79mn in net profit. Its 2Q16 revenue was Bt410mn with Bt58mn in profit, mainly driven by power plants. It plans to expand to ASEAN in 2H16 and to focus on the power business in CLMV. (Thun Hoon, 17/08/16)
