BIG
BIG is budgeting Bt10mn to hold the 10th Big Camera Big Pro days. It expects this to push its 3Q16 revenue up above Bt5bn and expects net profit to mark a record high. (Thun Hoon, 30/08/16)
EPG
EPG expects 2QFY16 to be good brought by numerous orders. It expects FY2016 revenue to reach Bt11bn. It expects to complete 1-2 M&A transactions by the end of this year. It plans to hold a roadshow abroad to attract foreign investors. (Khao Hoon, 30/08/16)

GL
GL partners with True Money. GL is forecasting a major boost to its already flourishing business in Cambodia through a new partnership with True Money, a mobile-payment subsidiary of True Corp in Thailand, that will significantly increase the sales of GL’s financial services via True Money’s extensive network of about 5,000 agents spread out nationwide in Cambodia. Comment: That’s a clever move by both parties. GL still has its monopoly in Cambodia for motorcycle leasing for another 3-4 years and barring a crash in that economy they’ll continue to dominate, the question is only how much are you willing to pay for this

 
HPT
HPT expects growth in 3Q16 backed by a 20% rise in capacity and high margin products. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 15-25% as targeted. It expects to hold an exhibition in Cambodia in October. (Thun Hoon, 30/08/16)

LDC expects net profit in 2017 after opening 31 branches. It expects 3Q16 sales to grow 9%. It also expects 2H16 revenue to be higher than 1H16. (Khao Hoon, 30/08/16)
Comment: I have always wondered how this dentist company has been losing money ever since they went public.
 
NDR
NDR expects 2016 revenue to achieve Bt1bn (25% growth). It expects strong earnings in 2H16 on the back of large orders from home and abroad. It is studying investing in other businesses with a decision to be made this year. It also plans to expand abroad. (Khao Hoon, 30/08/16)
NNCL
NNCL expects 3Q16 earnings to be good on the back of 30% profit sharing from a 125MW cogeneration power plant at Nava Nakorn (NNEG). It expects this to push up its 4Q16 performance. ORI
ORI launched a new project near BTS named Kensington , valued at Bt450mn. It expects a good response thanks to a better property outlook and political climate. (Thun Hoon, 30/08/16)
QTC
QTC expects 2H16 earnings to be good backed by sale of Bt345mn in electric transformers in Laos. It expects to take part in Bt2bn public projects. It expects 2016 revenue to be not less than Bt1bn. (Thun Hoon, 30/08/16)
RS
RS expects 2H16 earnings to be good on seasonality. It expects to increase ad rate and plans to reschedule programs to extend prime time, which will increase ad slots. It plans to invest more in the beauty business to increase its revenue and profit margin. (Thun Hoon, 30/08/16)

SAPPE expects 2016 revenue to grow 15% driven by exports. It expects net margin to reach 15% this year. It plans to launch coconut “juice” in bottles in 2017. (Khao Hoon, 30/08/16)

SYNEX
SYNEX targets 2016 revenue to grow 8-10% to Bt23bn. It expects 2016 net profit to mark a record high. It expects 2H16 to be good on seasonality. It plans to acquire related companies, with one deal expected to be completed in 4Q16. (Khao Hoon, 30/08/16)
WORK
WORK is planning to increase its advertising rates by at least 10% next year after its audience ratings and advertising utilization rates at its digital TV channel have grown as projected. (The Nation, 30/08/16)
XO
XO targets 2016 revenue to grow not less than 15% from higher sales. It expects 2H16 performance to be lower than 1H16 because of delays of its new plant. It expects to do two M&A transactions in 2017. (Khao Hoon, 30/08/16)
Comment: The CEO is very welcoming in telling investors his dreams and they are helping to price that into the market.

  1. Thanks for the heads up re: Arrow. Bought it recently and I was tempted to sell yesterday., but missed the ‘pop’. Looks like a hold.
