ASIMAR
ASIMAR expects 2Q15 earnings to surge 2,700% on booking revenue from Port Authority of Sihanoukville and Tourism Thailand. 3Q15 profit is expected to rise backed by upcoming bids and increasing demand for ship maintenance service. It expects 2015 earnings to mark a record high. Investors are interested in a takeover at Bt4 per share. (Thun Hoon, 23/07/15)

BSBM
BSBM expects to show net profit in 2Q15 from 1Q15 losses of Bt43.07mn aided by implementing cost control. It expects 2015 sales of 100,000 tons backed by large orders and the sale of all high cost products. (Thun Hoon, 23/07/15)
Comment: Never cared much for this company nor the industry that it operates, every steel co has suffered, is suffering and will continue to suffer.

CRANE
CRANE is confident 2015 revenue will achieve target 4% growth. It expects a Bt100mn acquisition to be concluded in 3Q15. It expects business to continue to trend up in the rest of the year aided by government projects investment. (Khao Hoon, 23/07/15)
Comment: In theory they should benefit tremendously, demand for Cranes should sky rocket over the coming years.

Comment: I think the journo’s don’t understand what they are writing here, ANAN isn’t going to have THB 10 bn in revenue in its 2H15, perhaps an additional THB 10bn of new backlog to be recognised in the future.

DCC
DCC plans to open new outlets in Cambodia and Laos. It expects exports to double this year benefitting from numerous orders from Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Malaysia. It targets sales of Bt7bn with profit in the double digits. (Thun Hoon, 15/07/15)

ERW

BMA insists NPG project is transparent. In response to Bestrin Group’s appeal to the prime minister to investigate the transparency of the NPG bus project, the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority insists the bid for NGV bus project was transparent and it will go ahead and sign two contracts with CHO to provide the NGV buses and maintenance services in June. Sansiri, BTS to develop property projects – A new joint venture from SET-listed developer Sansiri Plc (SIRI) and BTS Group Holdings Plc, Bangkok’s skytrain operator, plans to develop large-scale residential projects worth more than Bt3bn each, located within 500 metres of mass transit lines. Comment: Similar to the statement yesterday, this is great news for BTS, not too bad for SIRI either due to the ability to do more projects without stressing the balance sheet.
