DRT accepts that 2Q16 earnings will decrease from 1Q16 due to low season and demand. However, it maintains its 2016 target of revenue growth of 5%, supported by growing exports to CLMV+1. DNA board approved a budget of Bt4.39mn for its subsidiary “My Network” to acquire 51% of AEK stock. It plans to do an ICT business in Laos. It targets to have AEK be in the top three brands within two years. (Kao Hoon, 12/5/16)

GLOBAL
GLOBAL reported net profit of Bt451mn or growth of 108% due to increasing sales and higher gross profit. It is confident that 2016 revenue will grow no less than 10%. It plans to open 12 new branches, three in June. It plans to invest in Myanmar and Cambodia. (Kao Hoon, 12/5/16)

Comment: We said back in 2014 that this company was trading at ridiculous valuations and even though the price is off by some 40%, I still think it’s incredibly expensive.

AS
AS sets 2016 revenue target growth at 30%, supported by launch of 24 new games and adding games on mobile to reach 30% of all revenue. It expects 2016 earnings will turn around. (Thun Hoon, 25/03/16)
Comment: I do wonder if they can actually do it…we’ve been waiting for a number of years and perhaps its finally time.

BJC
BJC is leading the pack. After it acquires BIGC it will be the biggest retailer in ASEAN. It targets 2016 revenue growth at 10% supported by sales from abroad. It has budgeted Bt4.5bn to expand capacity both inside and outside Thailand. It is confident that its tender offer will proceed as planned. (Thun Hoon, 25/03/16)
Comment: They own retail in Thailand, they have metro in Vietnam, so I fully expect to see expansions into Laos and Cambodia.

Comment: Again the issue with AKR is that there are just better companies doing the same business in the market. 
CCP
CCP got concrete orders on motorway project (Pattaya-Mabtaphut), valued at Bt500mn. This will increase its 2016 backlog. It expects 2016 revenue of to Bt2.6bn. It expects to benefit from public projects and property projects. (Khao Hoon, 10/02/16)
Comment: A Definitely beneficiary from all this infrastructure spending, but it seems rather priced in already
DCON
DCON expects 2016 revenue to reach Bt1.15bn aided by a larger customer base. Its management is okay with a capital increase as it will support fundamentals and decrease its D/E ratio to 0.2X. It is budgeting Bt400mn to buy land. It plans to pay a dividend at a payout ratio of not less than 25%. (Thun Hoon, 10/02/16)

CI expects 2016 revenue growth of 100% backed by transfers, rental revenue, and selling Bt1.2bn assets to REITs. It expects 2015 revenue to be higher than Bt2bn. (Khao Hoon, 16/12/15)
Comment: This will mainly be from the REIT, the issue with a property company this size is that earnings will be lumpy, great for a year or 2 and rubbish for the next few years and CI is no different.

FSMART plans to set up new version of Boonterm top-up machine in 208 SAWAD branches aiming at 200 branches/month. It is looking for other prospective partners. Comment: I’ve never met the company, but I’ve marveled at the way the stock has been brokered all the way to 50x earnings.
