Comment: AJP has a TV program channel + a waste power plant, again the synergies here are amazing, can you imaging the future potential of the shows, documentaries on waste power plants!!! You just have to believe. All kidding aside, while this doesn’t have any synergies at all, waste to power can be incredibly lucrative.

AKR
2015 to be a good year — AKR says business will be strong in 2015 with revenue expected to grow 30%, supported by the government’s plan for alternative energy projects. Further, it will start booking revenue from solar panel sales. It is waiting for results on its bid to supply an electricity transformer worth more than Bt3bn. (Thun Hoon, 07/01/15)
Comment: I’m not sure that AKR has a competitive advantage in this industry versus what Demco, TRT and others, but perhaps there is just too much business going on that they’ll have a piece of the pie.

Comment: This looks like the same usual small IPO, perhaps its the last one for this year.

FORTH
FORTH expects 2015 revenue of Bt5bn as it is ready to bid for Bt20bn in new telecommunications system projects in the public sector. It expects to obtain Bt4-5bn of those. (Thun Hoon, 17/12/14)
Comment: A great little company, but the real bonus is in FSMART

FSMART
FSMART targets 30% revenue and profit growth next year. It has joined with Tune Insurance to allow provide service in making insurance payment through its Boonterm online top-up machines. It will also sign with CTH to sell package for Football Premier league worth Bt299 through its machines in 1Q15. (Kao Hoon, 17/12/14)
