ASEFA
ASEFA expects 2016 earnings to be good. It targets 2016 revenue to grow 15% brought by Bt1.7bn transfers and public projects. It expects to get more projects after it takes part in Bt2- 3bn bids. It has budgeted Bt150mn to increase its capacity by 50%, preparing for new orders. It expects 1Q16 earnings to be good from high sales. (Thun Hoon, 12/04/16)
BANPU

AOT expects to invest in Suvarnabhumi phase 2, valued at Bt56bn, by the end of this year. Management expects performance to be good as total passengers grew 14% in the first eight months of the year. It targets 50mn passengers this year. (Thun Hoon, 31/08/15)

BCP
BCP reported 2Q15 net profit and EBITDA of Bt4.05bn and Bt10.4bn respectively aided by high utilization rate at 115KBD. It expects stock loss in 3Q15 but this loss will not impact cash. It plans to acquire a 30-41MW power plant abroad. It plans to add 350-400 new gas stations by 2020. (ASTV, 31/08/15)
BKD
BKD has gotten a Bt200mn interior decoration job for a hotel overseas. It expects to get more jobs from Laos after it has got a Bt70mn from Chip Mong Land Co., Ltd. It targets exports to grow 10%. 2H15 net profit is expected to be good aided by seasonality. It plans to bid for Bt1bn in jobs, of which it expects to get 50%. (Thun Hoon, 31/08/15)

ADVANC reported 2Q15 net profit of Bt9.8bn (16% growth) backed by higher service revenue and mobile phone sales. It will pay a dividend of Bt6.5/share, XD on Aug 11. It revised down 2015 target growth from 3-4% to 3%. (Khao Hoon, 04/08/15)

AJD
AJD is talking to prospective Chinese partner (Alibaba) to invest in logistics and Ecommerce in Thailand. It is considering an alternative for this JV such as capital increase via PP, or setting up a subsidiary. It expects conclusion by the end of this year. (Thun Hoon, 04/08/15)

ARROW
ARROW expects 2Q15 earnings to be close to 1Q15’s Bt62.16mn. It is confident 2015 revenue will reach Bt1.2bn, backed by numerous orders. It has received BoI promotion for its product (tube for underground wire), which it plans to introduce in 3Q15. It targets revenue of Bt20mn from this product. (Thun Hoon, 04/08/15)
Comment: A wonderful grower in the past 2 years, the only question here is capacity constraint going to be an issue?

BDMS
BDMS expects 2Q15 earnings of Bt1.5bn aided by local and international patients. 2H15 net profit is expected to be higher than Bt3.7bn. (Khao Hoon, 04/08/15)

Comment: Interesting that this dinosaur bank continues to expand throughout the region whilst the rest (KBANK, SCB) are slow to do so.

CITY
CITY expects a drop in profit in 3Q15 to Bt29mn (-40%) because of the economic slowdown. It has changed its dividend policy to a payout of 40% of net profit. (Khao Hoon, 16/06/15)

CCP
CCP is confident it will achieve 10% revenue growth this year with Bt2.3bn backlog aided by government project investment. (Thun Hoon, 16/06/15)

1Q15 earnings grew 14.6% YoY from sale promotions to Bt1.44bn, EPS of Bt1.75. Sales revenue grew 1.9%YoY because BIGC launched promotional campaigns, especially during Chinese New Year. However, sales revenue slipped in March due to concerns about economic recovery. As a result, same-store sales contracted 0.2%YoY. (Post Today 08/05/15)
Comment: A negative SSSG again for BIGC, either they are losing out to Tesco (Which we doubt) or its just the overall market is far softer given the lower agri prices

CITY
4QFY15 to be best of the year – CITY expects 4QFY15 earnings (May-July 2015) to be its highest because of government investment projects that will increase demand for steel. It expects FY2015 (August 2014-July 2015) growth of 10% from FY2014’s Bt767mn. (Thun Hoon 08/05/15)
Comment: CITY used to be a pick of ours way back in 2007, it still has a decent dividend with a clean balance sheet

LPN
1Q15 earnings fell 16.7% due to fewer transfers. Khun Sombat Kittiphokirat says the firm and its subsidiary reported 1Q15 earnings of Bt292.09mn, Bt0.2 per share, down from last year’s Bt350.63mn, Bt0.24 per share. (Post Today 08/05/15)

AP, Mitsubishi lay out plans – Mitsubishi Estate Group (MEC), one of Japan’s largest developers, plans to launch three to four residential projects next year in partnership with SET-listed developer AP (Thailand) Plc to capitalise on the recovering economy and improved political climate. “Thailand’s fundamentals such as long-term economic prospects and people’s income remain sound,” said Shojiro Kojima, managing director of affiliate Mitsubishi Estate Asia (MEA). “Our investment is truly for the long term.” (Bangkok Post, 24/09/14)

BEC
Channel 3 talks fail, BEC may sue — The second round of talks to end the dispute between Channel 3 and the broadcasting regulator was another failure, and Bangkok Entertainment Co, holder of the analogue channel’s concession, is mulling legal action. (Bangkok Post, 24/09/14)
Comment: BEC is still facing a potential blackout

CITY
CITY sets revenue FY2015 growth target of 5-10% backed by an increase in its customer base. It plans to invest Bt50mn into maintenance and repair on its machinery. It has set up a subsidiary in Hong Kong and hopes to create a brand image for its electronic appliances. The board is also studying plans to expand into alternative energy. (Thun Hoon, 24/09/14)
Comment: CITY is a well-run little company that used to be a very straightforward 5-10% growth with a decent dividend.
