DEMCO bidding for EGAT and PEA jobs worth no less than Bt10bn. It targets revenue growth of 10-15% supported by 4G telecommunication towers and expansion of water and underground electrical systems in Laos. (Thun Hoon, 22/03/16)

EA expects good earnings in 1H16 supported by a 90MW solar farm in Phitsanulok and biodiesel. It says 2016 revenue will grow 30% from last year supported by booking revenue from the sale of 404MW. (Thun Hoon, 22/03/16)

BJCHI
BJCHI’s board has approved the share repurchase program for the purposes of financial management. It has set the maximum at not exceeding Bt250mn, equal to 40mn shares (2.5% of registered shares). It expects this to confirm its good outlook in the minds of investors and to give them the message that current share price is undervalued. It targets 2016 revenue growth of 15%. Comment: Oil price drop? Who cares! Obviously not BJCHI’s board with their announcement yesterday to do a share buyback.
COLOR
COLOR targets 2016 revenue growth of 7-8% backed by Bt150mn in transfers contributing revenue in 2Q16. It expects to take part in upcoming bids. It plans to expand to ASEAN, Australia, and Europe. (Khao Hoon, 14/01/16)

CPF
CPF plans to focus on box lunches via CP Food World. It plans to open new branches, targets to become a food service provider. It plans to open five food courts and six catering facilities this year. (Khao Hoon, 12/01/16)
CWT
CWT got Bt300mn job and expects to sign the contract soon. This job increases its backlog to Bt1.5bn which covers revenue until 4Q16. It expects revenue growth of 25% this year aided by numerous orders and the baht weakening. (Thun Hoon, 12/01/16)
DCON
DCON is budgeting Bt300-400mn to buy land. It plans to increase sales at DCON prime project. It targets 2016 revenue of Bt1.2bn by expanding its customer base. It expects its orders to increase backed by public projects. (Thun Hoon, 12/01/16)
Comment: The stock price has returned to where it should be, perhaps when the next condominium project is launched shall we see another xmas tree shape in the stock price

BANPU plans to restructure its business with a focus on power. It expects to increase capacity to 4000MW by 2020. It plans to invest in power plants in Laos, Myanmar and China. BGT expects to increase 2016 net margin to 7% even though 2015 net margin will be lower than 1%. It expects to expand to Myanmar and open 5-6 branches. Comment: I’ve always liked the CEO of BGT, he knows and understands the retail business very well but not many people care for the Bodyglove brandname.
DEMCO
DEMCO plans to take part in the Bt10bn EGAT and PEA bidding. It plans to invest in running tap water lines from hydropower plants in Laos. It plans to hedge risk from windmill power by using large engineering companies and buying more insurance. BECL/BMCL The cabinet has approved the amalgamation of BECL and BMCL with a new ticker, BEM. BECL will hold a joint shareholder meeting (BECL-BMCL) on Dec 28. Trading in BECL and BMCL shares will be suspended from Dec 21-30. (Thun Hoon, 09/12/15)
Comment: I am absolutely curious to see if BEM will become a must have investment for institutional investors, it just sounds right.
CBG
CBG is talking to a prospective partner in Indonesia which it expects to finalize in 1Q16. It expects this to increase its exports. It expects 2015 net profit to mark a new high backed by numerous orders. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 10% from this year. (Thun Hoon, 09/12/15)
Comment: We’ve heard this story before….ICHI, SAPPE, “we’re expanding to indonesia and growth will be amazeballs” Neither of the two have exactly panned out just yet, such things take years of development and marketing

CK bids lowest for Bt23.4bn dual-track project (Jira – Khon Kaen). It expects to sign the contract with the SRT this year, as well as the Chachoengsao – Kang Koi dual-track project. It expects the SRT to ask approval from the cabinet on Dec 15. (Khao Hoon, 09/12/15)
