AJD’s board has approved 60% of VDC for Bt7.5mn. It will providing funds not exceeding Bt50mn for VDC to use as working capital for its Online Top Up business. (Thun Hoon, 12/10/15)
Comment: Well the news its that Alibaba is involved, who knows how this will turn out and if it really can be a true competitor to FSMART and indirectly 7-11’s as well.
BEAUTY
BEAUTY expects to report 3Q15 earnings by Nov 15. It expects 3Q15 earnings to be good backed by high orders and the baht depreciation. It expects 2015 revenue to grow 20% as targeted, aided by more customers both at home and abroad. (Thun Hoon, 12/10/15)
Comment: Still flummoxed by the ability of this company to continue its wonderful earnings growth
BJCHI
BJCHI expects to bid for projects valued at Bt10bn and expects to get 50% of these. Its backlog is Bt6.5bn. It expects 2015 revenue to grow 15% from 2014’s Bt4.58bn. It is talking to a prospective partner to invest in alternative energy, which it expects to finalize in 2016. (Thun Hoon, 12/10/15)
Comment: Not to sure on the alternative energy approach, however with such a huge cash %age on their balance sheet, if it makes a better return than existing businesses why not.
DCON
DCON expects 2015 revenue of Bt300mn. It has a Bt20mn job from EA, supplying 620 foundation piles, profit on which it expects to book this year. It has budgeted Bt55mn to set up a new plant in Cambodia. (Khao Hoon, 12/10/15)

APCO expects 2H15 revenue to be better than 1H15’s Bt189mn on expanding via online and launching new products. It targets 2015 net profit of Bt118mn on the back of high margin product and cost control. (Khao Hoon, 08/09/15)
Comment: And they are somehow launching a HIV/AIDS medicine as well.

BEAUTY
BEAUTY targets export to comprise 6% from 2% by focusing on India and the Middle East where it has a customer base. It plans to sign a contract with a distributor in Indonesia this month. It expects earnings to mark a record high this year. (Bangkokbiznews, 08/09/15)
Comment: They do have substantial amount of cash on the b/s relative to assets ~30% today.

BIG
BIG expects 2015 net profit to grow 100% from 2014’s Bt137mn on the back of higher bargaining power with suppliers. It has budgeted Bt100mn to renovate old branches and open new branches. (Thun Hoon, 08/09/15)

FSMART
FSMART plans to set up new version of Boonterm top-up machine in 208 SAWAD branches aiming at 200 branches/month. It is looking for other prospective partners. It targets top-up revenue to reach Bt15bn from 60,000 existing top-up machines. Management expects revenue from advertising will grow significantly in 4Q15. (Thun Hoon, 08/09/15)

CCN and partner to bid for government project worth Bt100mn in 2Q15. It expects to get the entire project. The 1Q15 outlook is relatively the same as last year. It expects 2015 revenue growth to reach the target 20%. (Thun Hoon, 17/04/15)

COLOR
COLOR expects its 2015 to turn to be profitable, after losses for three years in a row. It expects the improvement to be enough to offset the retained losses of Bt17.53mn. It expects a strong 1Q15 after the return of client orders and better utilization rate. (Thun Hoon, 17/04/15)

DCON
DCON expects dramatic earnings growth over the next few years. Within the next ten days, it plans to set up a joint venture for a new plant in Cambodia. It also plans to set up a precast plant that will contribute Bt100bmn/year. It will also invest in a power plant and residential property in the future. (Thun Hoon, 17/04/15)
Comment: It’s the power plant and the residential projects that are the short term EPS drivers here.

DEMCO
Gets new project producing electric wire worth Bt871mn. This will raise backlog to more than Bt5bn. Solar farm projects will generate about Bt1.75bn. 1Q15 is expected to be strong. (Khao Hoon, 17/04/15)
Comment: DEMCO should always continue to win work in any power related project, especially renewable energy projects.
