GPSC

KAMART
KAMART expects 2015 net profit to be a five-year high (+140.6%) backed by high margin (more than 55%) from raising the sales of house brands plus seasonality. KAMART shares are of interest to institute investors (via PP) in recognition of its strong fundamentals, earnings growth and regular dividend. It plans to expand abroad. (Thun Hoon, 02/11/15)

Comment: The question still stands whether or not the company will be considered to be more valuable when the two entities combine, financial theory says no, thai investors may say otherwise.

CPR

CCP
CCP is confident 2H15 net profit will be higher than 1H15. Its backlog is Bt2.3bn, of which it expects to book 60-70% this year. It is talking with a prospective partner to export to Myanmar and Laos, expecting this to be finalized in 4Q15. (Khao Hoon, 24/08/15)

To change its name to “Advance Connection Corporation Plc” (ACC). The company’s focus will be on energy, trading and property businesses. It plans to hold a shareholders meeting about mid-June for shareholder approval. Foreigners are interested in jointly investing in a power plant in Thailand. CEI is waiting for the purchase power agreement (PPA) for its solar power plant. It has a land bank of ~2,000 rai which it plans to use for the power plant.
