Comment: No surprise here, everything still seems to be on track

FIRE
FIRE expects 2016 revenue to grow 20% aided by expanding abroad with a focus on Cambodia. It is budgeting Bt100mn to invest in Cambodia by as a distributor or outright acquisition. It expects this to be clear in 2017. It expects 2018 revenue of Bt1bn. (Khao Hoon, 15/01/16)

FPI
FPI expects 2016 revenue to be good after it has set up a JV in India. It expects this to increase orders by Bt300mn. It expects 2016 net profit to rise backed by the baht depreciation. It targets 2016 revenue growth of 20%. It has budgeted Bt150mn for investment. (Thun Hoon, 15/01/16)

GL
GL expects high 2015 net profit growth with a record high in 4Q15 driven by HP in Laos and Cambodia. It expects net profit to grow 96% on average for the next three years. (Khao Hoon, 15/01/16)

BIG’s shareholders approved par reduction to wipe out accumulated losses worth Bt150mn, clearing the path for dividend payout in the future, and restructuring its business for more flexibility and growth. Comment: We still have our doubts on this businesses ability to compete versus smart phones.

BMCL
MRTA board chooses BMCL for the Blue Line extension. The decision will be submitted to the Ministry of Transport for approval before starting the PPP process. (Khao Hoon, 26/10/15)

DEMCO
DEMCO backlog increases to Bt8.8bn after securing 12 more power plant projects from Toyo Engineering worth more than Bt2bn. The construction of the first facility will begin in November 2015. (Khao Hoon, 26/10/2015)
Comment: And they will continue to win backlogs as this part of their forte, but the kicker still comes from WEH

Comment: The combination of a high margins and the expansion into renewables have resulted in this stock price not dropping along with other companies in the energy sector
DTAC
DTAC plans to offer Payment Gateway service. It expects 2015 revenue of Bt3.5bn (+25%YoY). It plans to improve services to make them easier to use. It targets 30% revenue growth in 2016. It plans to introduce E-Wallet in November. (Khao Hoon, 06/10/15)
ECL
ECL plans to do a M&A. It plans to expand its logistics business, as well as car and truck rentals. It expects to do a JV with PFS (stake not less than 25%), hoping this will make it a leader in the leasing business. GFPT
GFPT expects 3Q15 earnings to recover backed by seasonality and increasing chicken price because of lower supply from the bird flu in US and Europe. It expects chicken price of Bt39-40/kg. (Thun Hoon, 06/10/15)

AIRA expects to show net profit in 2H15 from net loss in 1H15 of Bt37.8mn backed by the securities business. It plans to acquire other businesses to diversify (power business, leasing, insurance) which are expected to be clear in 2016. It has set up subsidiary “AIRA Property” to invest in rental business. BEAUTY

Comment: It’s a business I just don’t understand, and I still don’t see where their competitive advantage comes from other than pure pricing. 
BH
BH plans to set up diagnosis centers in Cambodia, Laos, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar after Myanmar. It has budgeted Bt11bn to invest in a second hospital. It is confident 2015 revenue will grow 10% from 2014’s Bt16bn. (Thun Hoon, 01/10/15)

CSS talking with board to split par to Bt0.10. Its energy business is doing very well, thanks to a good partner, Prime, which holds a PPA for 200MW solar energy in Japan plus several projects in Thailand. All of these will be transferred to associate Prime Renewable Energy Co. Ltd, which is expected to be listed in the near future. DELTA
DELTA says 2015 will be a new high for the fourth year in a row. It targets 10% growth in revenue and earnings via expanding into new markets in ASEAN and India. It is also interested in the acquisition of the world’s second player in the power supply industry. (Khao Hoon, 12/2/15)

Amata to invest in Vietnam’s Dong Nai – Thai industrial-city developer Amata will invest in three high-tech industrial-park and urban-development projects in the southern Vietnamese province of Dong Nai, news website dddn.com.vn reported. Amata Vietnam will be the investor in a 753-hectare urban-development project in Tam An commune in Long Thanh district. (The Nation, 16/01/15)

DTAC opens its 4G service center in Phuket. The new service center is expected to help support tourists and business operators in the area. It also plans to open new service centers in Hatyai, Surat Thani and Koh Samui due to the high demand for interest usage in those areas. (Kao Hoon, 16/01/15)

FORTH bidding for Bt8bn project to replace government light bulbs. Management expects to win at least 10% of all projects that it plans to bid for, which will add to its current backlog of Bt500-700mn. HMPRO plans to launch five new branches in the provinces in 2H14. In November, it also plans to open its first store in Malaysia.
