Comment: This has been a dog of stock for the past few …… actually the past 10 years.

BKD
BKD is talking to a partner to handle a property project abroad which it expects to finalize this month. It expects to get a Bt400mn project in Myanmar. It expects 2016 revenue to grow not less than 20% from 2015’s Bt1.3bn target. (Thun Hoon, 30/11/15)

CHOW
CHOW says its 11MW Japan solar power plant started up on November 20 and will contribute good revenue. It expects the power business to be a key driver for company growth. (Thun Hoon, 30/11/15)
Comment: The expansion to Japan has continued to a boon for CHOW, along with GUNKUL, they are one of the few companies to continue growing this way.

COLOR
COLOR expects 4Q15 earnings to be good backed by numerous orders. It expects to show a net profit this year. It expects 2016 revenue growth of 4-5% after expanding abroad. (Khao Hoon, 30/11/15)

DCON
DCON is talking to a prospective partner to expand its market in Cambodia. It plans to ask approval for its 2016 business pan in December. It plans to do a capital increase in order to acquire new land that will support its property business. (Thun Hoon, 30/11/15)
Comment: Well the story for DNA has played out as we had expected in the past few years, earnings have peaked due the condo transfer and now it’s returned to trading at a fair value for its core business

AJD announced it has begun preliminary investment talks with Alibaba Group, but has not yet reached any agreement. It is engaged in another investment deal in the logistics business with YTO Express which should be concluded by end-2015, after which it will be submitted to the board for approval. AUCT expects to get 4G auction system project management from NBTC. It expects this to contribute revenue in 4Q15. It expects 3Q15 earnings to be good. It expects to revise up revenue by 20-40%. It plans to bid for a condominium in 4Q15. (Thun Hoon, 14/10/15)
Comment: That is quite interesting, if you remember the interview posted within the past few weeks, AUCT was hinting towards being able to auction any and every type of product
FSMART

ILINK
ILINK expects to get a Bt3bn project from PEA which is expected to put up for bid this year. It expects 2015 revenue of Bt3bn on the back of a Bt2bn submarine cable project at Ko Pha Ngan. It expects the telecom market to grow 100% because of the moves toward a “digital economy”. It plans to list Interlink Telecom next year. (Thun Hoon, 14/10/15)

Comment: There’s nothing new here in terms of stories nor valuation, in the end its a good move for CK to not have to inject additional capital into BMCL
CHOW
CHOW has done a JV with BCP to invest in a 50MW solar power plant in Japan. It will invest no more than Bt380mn. (Khao Hoon, 30/09/15)
DRT
DRT expects sales to peak in 2016 although 2015 sales may be hurt by the economic slowdown. It plans to expand abroad. It targets exports to comprise 30% of revenue within three years. It expects to benefit from the government’s stimulus. (Thun Hoon, 30/09/15)
Comment: That’s rather ambitious by DRT, unless the Thai portion of the business is going to collapse.

Comment: Then perhaps that shareholder should sue every past government in Thailand’s history as well.

KKP
KKP expects loans growth to drop because of the sluggish economy. It expects to have to make extra provisions. It targets 2015 NPLs of 6%. It does not plan to open new branches after closing 24 branches but expects to focus on service improvement. (Thun Hoon, 04/09/15)

Comment: The question still stands whether or not the company will be considered to be more valuable when the two entities combine, financial theory says no, thai investors may say otherwise.

CENTEL expects to benefit from the baht depreciation as it will lead to an increase in tourists. Its average occupancy rate is 80% in 1H15 which is higher than 1H14. (Thun Hoon, 10/07/15)

CWT

Comment: No idea on what “The Agent” is, will have to look at it, but I do like the long term story of ANAN the most out of every property developer

CI
CI expects a net profit in 2Q15 from 2Q14’s loss of Bt25.78mn aided by booking revenue. It is confident it will achieve 15% revenue growth this year, benefitting from an uptrend of the property sector. The company plans to open a new project worth Bt4bn. (Thun Hoon, 05/06/15)
Comment: They have been buying shares back in the market for the past 12 months, perhaps there’s a story here.

EARTH
1H15 earnings will be better than 2H14 on higher orders and coal price. 2015 sales are targeted at 10mn tons. The investment in a power plant in the Philippines is expected to be finalized by 4Q15. Management says the baht depreciation is leading to higher exports. (Thun Hoon, 05/06/15)
