AP expects to open 12 new projects in 2H16 in total worth Bt25.58bn. This will support 2016 presales to hit its target of Bt31bn. Presales are at Bt14.07bn with backlog of Bt17.06bn, of which it will book Bt8.7bn this year. It is confident that revenue will reach target of Bt23.7bn. (Kao Hoon, 31/08/16)

Comment: One of the few property developers that may show growth next year, some analysts are writing +30% in EPS

 

BEM

BEM expects 4Q16 to be good, supported by more than Bt3.6bn in revenue from Sriratch expressway and Purple Line, with 2016 revenue of Bt13.1bn. It expects profit growth of no less than 9%. It expects no effect from the fare reduction for the Purple Line as it is offset by a steady increase in passenger volume. (Thun Hoon, 31/08/16)

BJC

BJC cut its 2016 revenue target growth to 7-9% in response to lower sales. However, it expects profit to increase from a change in is sales strategy . (Kao Hoon, 31/08/16)

GENCO

GENCO has set up 2 subsidiaries to prepare to build a 9.9MW power plant. (Kao Hoon, 31/08/16)

J

J expects 2H16 continue to grow supported by booking more revenue. It targets 2016 revenue growth of 30%. It has budgeted Bt1bn to develop projects at Srinakarin worth more than Bt600mn and land acquisition which expects to open at the end of the year. It plans to set up an REIT worth Bt500mn next year. GUNKUL
GUNKUL approved a par split from Bt1 to Bt0.25 to increase liquidity. It ready to issue a debenture of not over Bt3bn, age not over 7 years to support further expansion. It will offer the debenture to shareholders on April 26. (Thun Hoon, 07/03/16)

IRCP

BR expects to complete a deal with an Indonesian partner by 1Q16. It is studying taking over local and international companies. It plans to distribute its products in Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar. BECL/BMCL The cabinet has approved the amalgamation of BECL and BMCL with a new ticker, BEM. BECL will hold a joint shareholder meeting (BECL-BMCL) on Dec 28. Trading in BECL and BMCL shares will be suspended from Dec 21-30. (Thun Hoon, 09/12/15)
Comment: I am absolutely curious to see if BEM will become a must have investment for institutional investors, it just sounds right.

CBG
CBG is talking to a prospective partner in Indonesia which it expects to finalize in 1Q16. It expects this to increase its exports. It expects 2015 net profit to mark a new high backed by numerous orders. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 10% from this year. (Thun Hoon, 09/12/15)

CK bids lowest for Bt23.4bn dual-track project (Jira – Khon Kaen). It expects to sign the contract with the SRT this year, as well as the Chachoengsao – Kang Koi dual-track project. It expects the SRT to ask approval from the cabinet on Dec 15. (Khao Hoon, 09/12/15)

CENTEL expects 2015 revenue of Bt20bn with growth of 8-10% next year. It plans to add 8-10 new hotel management contracts to its portfolio. Comment: A quick trip to Phuket has taught me the following 1) The Russians are still here; 2) The Chinese are definitely here, tourism into Thailand is a non-issue, now we are just waiting to see if CENTEL can actually manage F&B brands well or not. 
EFORL
EFORL 3Q15 earnings could grow 300% from booking the gain from sale of its holding in WCIH. Teerawut Pangviroonrug, CEO, is confident that EFORL will achieve its 2015 revenue target of Bt4.5bn on growing customer base and additional income from Siam Snail. EPCO
EPCO board has approved investment in a Bt2.5bn 25MW Japan solar farm project. The project’s commercial startup is expected in 2016. This is part of its long-term plan to grow its international energy portfolio. “BorPloy” solar project is expected to file for listing in 2016. (Thun Hoon 13/10/15)
MINT
MINT successfully completed its Singapore roadshow with a warm welcome from investors. It will continue with its Europe roadshow this week. It is keeping its earnings growth target of 15-20% over the next 5 years, starting with a plan to take over 7 new hotels this year. (Thun Hoon 13/10/15)

Japanese investors are interested in becoming business partners to ANAN in view of its strong fundamentals. It expects 2015 revenue will achieve target of Bt11bn aided by transfers. It plans to invest Bt17.8bn in new projects which is expected to lift its backlog to Bt34bn. (Thun Hoon, 03/08/15)
