DEMCO expects its business to pass bottom after the budget for repairing Huay Bong 2-3 has been settled. It expects 2H16 to be in the black. It is confident that 2016 revenue will reach its target of Bt6bn, growth of 10-15%, supported by more than Bt6.4bn in backlog waiting to be booked. (Kao Hoon, 05/09/16)

DSGT
DSGT expects 2016 revenue to be better than 2015’s revenue of Bt7.5bn, backed by customer expansion and expansion in Thailand and abroad. It plans to launch a big campaign to stimulate sales. (Thun Hoon, 05/09/16)

ECF
ECF expects 2016 revenue growth 12-15% due to furniture business is recovery. It plans to negotiate with partner to invest in power plant in Thailand and abroad which expects to conclude in 3Q16. Recently, It signed MOU with AF to do a factoring loan to members and supplier. (Kao Hoon, 05/09/1 6)
EGCO
EGCO expects 2016 operating profit to exceed Bt8bn, growth of over 5%, after reporting operating profit of Bt4.3bn in 1H16. It continues to expand electricity business in Thailand and abroad and expects capacity to reach 5,000MW by 2019. (Kao Hoon , 05/09/16)
KTB
KTB rejigs loan price formula. Krungthai Bank (KTB), the country’s largest state-owned bank by assets, has revised its pricing formula for government and state enterprise loans to be more competitive after significant falls over the past few years. (Bangkok Post, 05/09/16)

Comment: It’s more likely that the continued improvement will come from decreased financing costs

BLA reported 2Q16 net profit of Bt9.3bn thanks to reversal of provisions. It will pay a dividend of Bt0.32/share, XD on Aug 25. (Khao Hoon, 10/08/16)
Comment: Despite the short term respite it’s still going to be tough for insurance co’s to make $ on their investment portfolio’s given these low yields
 
DEMCO
DEMCO says its 60MW wind power at Khao Kor commenced operations. It expects this to contribute Bt40mn income in 2017. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 10-15%. Its backlog is Bt7bn, of which it expects to book Bt6bn this year. It plans to take part in Bt10bn in bids. (Thun Hoon, 10/08/16)
Comment: The issue surrounding Demco is still because of the loss of production payments 
 
EGCO
EGCO reported 2Q16 net profit of Bt2.04bn (+46%). This brought 1H16 net profit to Bt4.63bn (+58%). ( Khao Hoon, 10/08/16)
GFPT
GFPT reported 2Q16 net profit of BT380.79mn (+90%) backed by lower feed costs and growth in GFN and McKey. It expects 2H16 earnings to be good on seasonality. It expects exports to reach 6,500ton/quarter. It expects 2016 gross profit to grow 14%. (Thun Hoon, 10/08/16)
Comment: Every chicken/pork company has had a wonderful 2Q and it looks like chicken prices are continuing to increase into the 2H16
 
GOLD
GOLD reported 2Q16 net profit of Bt359.38mn, which brought 1H16 net profit to Bt560.77mn driven by large transfers from property stimulus measures. It expects 2016 revenue to reach its target of Bt10bn. (Khao Hoon, 10/08/16)

Comment: I have this awful feeling in my stomach that banpu could pull a thai airways despite the #’s not justifying it.
COLOR
COLOR expects 2Q16 earnings to be good backed by higher sales. It targets market share of 25% with capacity of 45,000tons/day. It expects net profit to mark a record high. (Thun Hoon, 30/06/16)
CRANE
CRANE expects large orders from Suvarnabhumi phase 2 and the east-west economic corridor. It expects to show net profit in 2H16. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 10% from last year’s Bt902.16mn driven by uptrend in construction. (Thun Hoon, 30/06/16)
Comment: Well they should be busy with renting out their cranes for all these infra projects too.
NEP
NEP plans to restructure by takeovers and JVs. It is budgeting Bt60mn to buy equipment in order to increase its capacity for high-margin products. It expects net profit to get back in the black soon and will apply dividend policy of 50% payout ratio. (Thun Hoon, 30/06/16)

Comment: We think that the news is slightly incorrect for AUCT, more that AUCT would love to be the firm holding the auction on behalf of the government

EE
EE expects 4Q15 earnings to turn around backed by orders from China from ethanol stimulus measures. It expects 2016 net profit to be good aided by 240MW power plants. It plans to wipe out retained loss of Bt684.36mn with dividend payout of 40% as is its policy. (Thun Hoon, 10/11/15)

GCAP
GCAP is talking to a prospective partner to expand its business, lending on agricultural machines, which it expects to finalize soon. It targets 2015 loans for crepe rubber machines to reach Bt20mn from the addition of customers. It expects 3Q15 earnings to be good backed by increased demand for loans. Comment: A rather interesting little company, but has the decrease in agricultural prices killed its target market?

GOLD
GOLD’s board has approved a capital increase of 685.7mn shares for PP to FPHT at Bt7.25/share, equal to Bt4.97bn. It plans to use the funds from the capital increase for new projects. It reported 3Q15 earnings of Bt133.52mn (+71%) with revenue of Bt2bn. It plans to pay an interim dividend of Bt0.05/share, XD on Nov 19, PD on Dec 3. (Thun Hoon, 10/11/15)

Comment: Well at least the delay was by 12 months as it was last year.

AJP
Plans to invest in waste and solar power plants. It plans to raise the proportion of revenue from alternative energy to 50%. It will fund its investments via a Bt2bn bond. It is dealing for an advertising event worth Bt40mn in May. (Thun Hoon 07/05/15)

BTS
Treasury Department plan for developing the land at Mochit expected to finalize this week. BTS is interested in handling a portion of the development of the property and maintenance depot. (Khao Hoon 07/05/15)

CEI
To change its name to “Advance Connection Corporation Plc” (ACC). The company’s focus will be on energy, trading and property businesses. It plans to hold a shareholders meeting about mid-June for shareholder approval. Foreigners are interested in jointly investing in a power plant in Thailand. CEI is waiting for the purchase power agreement (PPA) for its solar power plant. It has a land bank of ~2,000 rai which it plans to use for the power plant. It expects to set up phase 1 of a solar power plant with 20MW capacity in 2016. (Thun Hoon 07/05/15)
Comment: Another odd company that somehow will combine property and renewable energy. Perhaps they’ll be creative and another space programs too…

AIT
AIT expects revenue to be in line with forecast at Bt6.2bn as it has managed to convert Bt3.75bn of its backlog into revenue. The company is waiting on additional projects worth Bt720mn, with plans to bid for another Bt8.09bn. Management said it has no concern over 2015 as the NCPO is working to stimulate the economy. Comment: The majority of AIT’s backlog does come from TOT and CAT, so its a good thing that they can begin issuing new projects for firms like AIT, LOXELY and SAMART to bid for projects again.

DRT
DRT: 2H14 performance better than 1H14 because the NCPO is working on lifting the economy. It maintains revenue growth of 10% YoY and will keep gross profit margin close to 2013 at 10.18%. It will invest Bt100mn to improve machinery efficiency. (Khao Hoon, 06/06/14)

GEL
GEL board approves purchase of 251.01mn MILL common shares and 249.56mn preferred shares, MILL-PA, lifting its ownership to 20% in furtherance of its goal of becoming leading integrated construction material business. It sold total investment in AQUA, an 8.94% stake with a gain of Bt44.55mn to be used to expand. It will focus on core or related businesses. (Khao Hoon, 06/06/14)
