BEAUTY
BEAUTY sets 2016-2020 revenue target growth of 20% each year supported by expanding into Asia. It expects to conclude a deal to set up a distributor in Hong Kong in 4Q16 and increase revenue from other business. It expects 2016 revenue of more than Bt2.1bn. (Kao Hoon, 20/09/16)

BWG plans an industrial waste power plant. Recently, it cooperated with EGCO to study a project to develop an industrial waste power plant. It expects to set up the first industrial power plant capacity of 9.4MW and COD within 2017. (Kao Hoon, 20/09/16)

CGD
CGD gets B13bn for project. SET-listed Country Group Development Plc (CGD) has secured US$375 million (about 13 billion baht) through China Ping An Bank to continue developing luxury project Chao Phraya Estate. (Bangkok Post, 20/09/16)

Comment: Given the way that Prasert continues to buyback shares in BDMS he must have a lot of faith in the business’ ability to grow from 70 bn today to 100 bn in 2 years.
 
IHL
IHL expands its business to high margin. It plans to open a protein factory to support revenue and expects this to be operational in June. It targets 2016 revenue of Bt2.5bn from Bt2.2bn in 2015 supported by more orders and new business. (Thun Hoon, 22/04/16)
Comment: Well if you believe in an automotive rebound and IHL’s ability to shift its product mix then sure.
 
ITD
ITD expects 2016 revenue of over Bt60bn and 2017 revenue of Bt130bn after getting a new job worth Bt200bn. It plans to deal with French investors to bid for the Pink and Yellow lines jointly. (Khao Hoon, 22/04/16)
NUSA
NUSA plans to expand its business to ASEAN. It plans to cooperate with partners to set up JVs as well as invest by itself. It expects to make a decision in 3Q16. Comment: We do wonder aloud…will their multi brand multi product approach work? I have yet to see an independent Thai consumer company be very successful at this

IEC

DTAC

KAMART expects 2015 net profit to be a five-year high (+140.6%) backed by high margin (more than 55%) from raising the sales of house brands plus seasonality. BA
BA expects 2016 revenue to grow 10-15% to a record high net profit. It plans to open two routes to Vietnam. It is talking to three prospective partners. 2015 cabin factor is 68-69% which is lower than expected, affected by the economic crisis in Europe. (Khao Hoon, 19/10/15)
Comment: BA’s value as a business is still effectively it’s control over Samui and we’re still waiting to see if they can truly become a regional airline, in addition to this they still have that huge stake in BDMS

BIG
BIG expects 2015 revenue to grow not less than 10% backed by growth in demand for mirrorless cameras. It maintains its targets of 10% revenue growth and 20% gross margin next year. It expects to pay dividend if shareholders approve a restructuring plan to reduce capital. (Thun Hoon, 19/10/15)
Comment: With mobile phones now replacing (or for a while already) replacing cameras I do doubt the long term viability of this company

COM7

Comment: They are actively looking for projects throughout the region. Then again so are many other companies in the space, its just a question of how much is one willing to pay.
CWT

Comment: AKR has been a dog of business for as far back as I can remember, yes it may have some decent engineers in house, but the performance versus TRT and QTC was always lagging.

Comment: A far smaller player but one that should benefit from infrastructure, shame about the valuation.
CPN
CPN plans to invest in three condominiums: in Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen and Rayong, worth Bt4bn. It plans to start its construction on 2Q16 and finish in 2Q18. It expects this to generate profit of Bt610mn. (Khao Hoon, 21/09/15)
