BLA’s long-term outlook is bright as the firm is changing business strategy to sell more highvalue products like collectors’ insurance, which will boost gross profit in the future. Comment: That is impressive, a couple of reasons for it 1) lower costs 2) high GPM’s on products 3) Is upcountry really buying that much more? 
EPG
EPG’s management feels confident about FY2H15 outlook (October 2015-March 2016) owing to seasonality and the weakening baht. The firm also maintains positive revenue guidance at Bt9bn for FY 2016. (Than Hoon, 08/10/15)
Comment: It’s quite the interesting niche company with a massive global footprint. 
FIRE
FIRE has decreased its target revenue growth in 2015 from 15% to 10%. It plans to expand abroad and expects to open an office in Cambodia next year. It expects revenue growth in 2016 at no less than 15%. (Kao Hoon, 08/10/15)

ASIMAR
ASIMAR expects 2Q15 earnings to surge 2,700% on booking revenue from Port Authority of Sihanoukville and Tourism Thailand. 3Q15 profit is expected to rise backed by upcoming bids and increasing demand for ship maintenance service. It expects 2015 earnings to mark a record high. Investors are interested in a takeover at Bt4 per share. (Thun Hoon, 23/07/15)

BSBM
BSBM expects to show net profit in 2Q15 from 1Q15 losses of Bt43.07mn aided by implementing cost control. It expects 2015 sales of 100,000 tons backed by large orders and the sale of all high cost products. (Thun Hoon, 23/07/15)
Comment: Never cared much for this company nor the industry that it operates, every steel co has suffered, is suffering and will continue to suffer.

CRANE
CRANE is confident 2015 revenue will achieve target 4% growth. It expects a Bt100mn acquisition to be concluded in 3Q15. It expects business to continue to trend up in the rest of the year aided by government projects investment. (Khao Hoon, 23/07/15)
Comment: In theory they should benefit tremendously, demand for Cranes should sky rocket over the coming years.

Comment: We do wonder aloud, weakening thb, which other export based or sectors/companies that rely upon Thailand being cheap for labour will benefit in the continued weakening of the THB? The same question of course goes for every other country in the region.

CENTEL
CENTEL expects to benefit from the baht depreciation as it will lead to an increase in tourists. Its average occupancy rate is 80% in 1H15 which is higher than 1H14. (Thun Hoon, 10/07/15)

CPALL
CPALL expects 2015 revenue to grow 11-12%. It expects water sales to grow 15% as people buy more water because of the drought. (Khao Hoon, 10/07/15)

CWT

EPCO targets 500MW power capacity within 2-3 years, 100MW this year. Management says the deal with a Japanese and European company is expected to be finalized soon. It plans to invest in a biomass power plant in South with a partner, expected to conclude this week. (Khao Hoon, 14/07/15)

IFEC
IFEC has been selected to undertake a solar farm with Royal Thai Navy with a PPA for 60-100MW. It plans to take over other power plants in July. It plans to invest in a wind power plant in Korea. (Thun Hoon, 14/07/15)

CPF
CPF expects to pay a Bt0.3 per share interim dividend. 1H15 profit is expected to drop 76% to Bt959mn. It expects to show its best performance in 3Q15, benefitting from recovery of chicken and pork prices and export growth. (Khao Hoon, 07/07/15)

ASIMAR expects 2015 performance to break the record with two projects on hand worth Bt1bn. The company will also benefit from more budget from the Port Authority of Thailand of Bt4.67bn. CNT working to set up a new JV with foreign partner. The company aims to become one of the contractors selected for public sector investment projects. Comment: A surprising loss last year from this construction co, I do expect for things to improve and am wondering why they can’t bid for the larger projects like UNIQ has.

Amata to invest in Vietnam’s Dong Nai – Thai industrial-city developer Amata will invest in three high-tech industrial-park and urban-development projects in the southern Vietnamese province of Dong Nai, news website dddn.com.vn reported. FORTH bidding for Bt8bn project to replace government light bulbs. Management expects to win at least 10% of all projects that it plans to bid for, which will add to its current backlog of Bt500-700mn. GRAND
GRAND reported 3Q14 net profit of Bt45.4mn from net loss of Bt68.3mn in 3Q13 as it booked revenue from Hyde Sukhumvit. The company is studying to form a partnership with domestic and overseas hotels after board approval. (Thun Hoon, 10/11/14)
Comment: The Hyde Sukhumvit is all that GRAND has going for it at the moment, most of their other major assets are leaseholds which only have a few years left.
