Comment: It’s interesting to see that they are acquiring SunEdison Japan…hopefully it won’t be a mess like its recent oil acquisition (pre price drop..)

CI

CPF
CPF expects 4Q15 net profit of Bt1.66bn (+106%) aided by Bt1.06bn extra gain from selling CPALL shares, bringing 2015 earnings to Bt11.17bn (5% growth). It expects to pay a dividend of Bt0.45/share. (Khao Hoon, 02/02/16)

BCP

BIG
BIG targets 2016 revenue to grow 10% by offering photography services and solutions. It plans to provide another service, printing photos from mobile phones, targeting the youth. It plans to pay a dividend on its robust 2015 earnings. (Thun Hoon, 29/01/16)
Comment: They say that 1) Margins are stable 2) Growth comes from consumers actually wanting to use cameras and the change in consumer behaviour; I say 1) Ok 2) Don’t see it ccontinuing

BWG
BWG targets 2016 revenue growth of 10-15% backed by increasing waste income. It is working with EGAT to invest in a waste power plant. It plans to cooperate with IEAT to invest in IE for alternative energy, with a decision to be made by April. Foreign investors are interested in its shares via PP. (Khao Hoon, 29/01/16)
Comment: It would be interesting to see how this company develops….if everything they say is true then there could be a decent amount of upside available. No idea why they would need a PP give that their capital base seems solid

FSMART
FSMART targets 90,000 Boon-Term Top-Up machines by the end of this year. It expects these to contribute Bt21bn revenue in 2016. It expects to offers a new platform for its Top-Up machines to make them more user friendly. (Thun Hoon, 29/01/16)

CHO
CHO reported a drop in 3Q15 earnings of Bt32mn but it expects to recover in 4Q15. Its backlog is Bt600mn of which 50% is expected to be booked in 4Q15. (Khao Hoon, 18/11/15)
Comment: Expect to see an interview on this company soon.

CI
CI plans to take over hotels at home and overseas; it expects this to be finalized next year. It plans to launch three new projects, valued at Bt5bn, which will raise its backlog to Bt3bn. 4Q15 net profit is expected to be a record high from seasonality and transfers that were spurred by property incentives. Comment: First they cleaned their balance sheet, then a share buyback and now M&A deals, not a bad move by this family.

CSL
CSL expects to show a net profit this year after achieving Bt248mn in net profit for first nine months. It expects 2015 revenue to grow 1-3%, close to last year’s, affected by a poor performance by its yellow pages and mobile contents businesses. Comment: Retail investors are all over this already in theory yes they should benefit tremendously, question is only if it is already priced in or not.
EA
EA expects 9-month net profit to surpass Bt1.9bn (+50%) backed by Bt600mn net profit in 3Q15 from a 188MW power plant. It expects a solar farm at Phitsanulok and wind power to start up at the beginning of next year. (Khao Hoon, 15/10/15)

ECL plans to do a M&A. It plans to expand its logistics business, as well as car and truck rentals. It expects to do a JV with PFS (stake not less than 25%), hoping this will make it a leader in the leasing business. Comment: They are actively looking for projects throughout the region. Then again so are many other companies in the space, its just a question of how much is one willing to pay.
CWT
CWT expects to sign the PPA for a 9.9MW waste power plant after completing the public hearing. It expects the sale of ordinary shares via PP to be successful. It expects to show a net profit in 3Q15 from 3Q14 net loss of Bt1.73mn aided by large orders. (Khao Hoon, 23/09/15)

ANAN
