BWG expects 2Q16 net profit to be good backed by revenue from industrial waste management service. It expects 2H16 earnings to be good aided by 9.4MW power plant and RDF (Refuse-Derived Fuel). Comment: And they are issuing warrant after warrant for this. I’ve always liked the idea of industrial waste management but it looks like the focus of the company has shifted to powerplants more and more.
 
CSS
CSS expects to book revenue from communication system projects of ADVANC and DTAC. It expects 2016 revenue to hit its target of Bt5.3bn. It plans to take part in bidding for 15MW solar cell. It plans to expand abroad. (Thun Hoon, 31/05/16)
Comment: A retail darling at one point, could it be time for part 2?
 
EPG
EPG reported FY2016 net profit of Bt1.413bn, up 123%YoY, driven by all three business segments. It will pay a dividend of Bt0.12/share, XD on Aug 2. (Khao Hoon, 31/05/16)
IFEC
IFEC expects 2Q16 net profit to back to the black from net loss in 1Q16 and higher than 2Q15 due to Bt700mn extra gain from debt restructuring at Dhara Dhevi. It expects Dhara Dhevi to exit from its rehabilitation plan in June and list on the SET in 2017. (Khao Hoon, 31/05/16)

AIRA
AIRA plans to launch nano-finance in May. It targets people aged between 20-55 years old with maximum credit of Bt50,000. It will open its first branch in Silom Complex. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/16)
CI
CI indicates 1Q16 earnings will exceed target of Bt500-600mn supported by more project transfers. It expects 2016 revenue will hit target of Bt3bn. It has backlog of more than Bt2.5- 2.6bn, of which it will realize 50% this year. The company will book a Bt1.2bn extra gain from the sale of Sripanwa phase 2 to REIT in 2H16. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/16)
Comment: They’re beginning to perform like a decent property developer. 
FPI
FPI board approved a dividend of Bt0.07/share, payment on April 29. It sets 2016 revenue target growth of 10%. It plans to build a factory in India and start operating in 4Q16. It has orders amounting to more than Bt300mn. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/16)
GPSC

BANPU
BANPU reported 3Q15 net loss of Bt72.27mn due to lower coal price. It plans to list Banpu Power on the SET to expand its electricity business. It expects electricity production to be 2.4MW. (Khao Hoon, 12/11/15)
Comment: Brokers are still trying to push banpu as a buy, I still just don’t see it.

BJCHI
BJCHI reported 3Q15 profit of Bt419mn, growth of 63% YoY. It plans to bid for projects. (Khao Hoon, 12/11/15)
Comment: Shouldn’t this make people less worried about the future of BJCHI?

CPALL
CPALL reported 3Q15 net profit of Bt3.258bn, growth of 20.8%. Its revenue is Bt100.063bn with 9.60% growth YoY. The growth came from expanding 7-Elven stores to 8,618 or 30.7% growth. (Khao Hoon, 12/11/15)
Comment: And we are all still waiting for MAKRO’s share price to rise above THB 40/share so that CPALL may finally sell a stake there.

CSS
CSS reported 3Q15 net profit of Bt191.97mn with 30% growth YoY. Its growth came from business expansion. It expects 4Q15 earnings to be impressive and is ready to enter into telecommunication and energy business. It targets this year’s revenue at Bt4.8-5.0bn or 20-25% growth. (Khao Hoon, 12/11/15)
Comment: It seems priced and we’re rather surprised that the stock didn’t run further on the back of the 4G announcements.

Comment: It’s the same story every couple of years for AIS, in the end they are still the largest player, they still have the cleanest balance sheet and they’ll still continue to dominate.
AEONTS
AEONTS reported 2QFY15 net profit of Bt731mn (+40%QoQ). It plans to pay an interim dividend of Bt1.6/share. It targets FY2015 loan growth of 3-4% aided by government stimulus measures. It plans to expand its credit card customer base in Bangkok from its existing 2mn cards. (Thun Hoon, 24/09/15)
Comment: Ex its 1 time gain, earnings growth was only single digits for AEONTS
BEC
BEC expects 2015 revenue to drop by 5-10% and net profit to drop more than 10% from last year. It expects its performance to be better than peers. It says the drop in performance was caused by the economic slowdown and high competition. (Khao Hoon, 24/09/15)
Comment: While they may still be #1, their financial performance just shows the damage that digital TV has done to incumbents.
DCON
DCON plans to focus on power, construction and materials, and property businesses. It expects 3Q15 earnings to be good backed by large orders. It expects 2016 performance to turn around. (Thun Hoon, 24/09/15)
DEMCO
DEMCO expects 3Q15 earnings to be good aided by Bt3.7bn transfers from Bt8.8bn work on hand. It plans to bid for new projects both local and abroad. It expects 2015 revenue of Bt6bn. (Thun Hoon, 24/09/15)

Comment: Its wonderful news for CHO however it’s one off and then earnings will return to “normal business” levels post this transaction
CPN
CPN has budgeted Bt20bn to open Central Phuket on 111rai, expects this property to be a center of business and tourist attraction. It plans to develop this property for hotels, convention center, and department store which is expected to be done in 2017. (Khao Hoon, 05/08/15)
Comment: Other than the massive mistake that is Central Embassy, CPN is still THE best pure mall play in Thailand.
EA
EA expects 2Q15 net profit to be higher than Bt800mn backed by solar farm, lifting 1H15 net profit to Bt1.4bn. Management is confident 2015 revenue will reach Bt10bn. It targets net profit growth of 50%. It expects annual revenue of Bt6bn from 2017 onward. (Khao Hoon, 05/08/15)
Comment: No change in the story here, however the stock price has seem to lost it’s interest from the investing publich w/ the price off some 33% from its 52 week highs.

APCO
APCO plans an acquisition to increase its competitiveness. To fund this, it is issuing 250mn shares. It expects the acquisition to increase revenue by 2X-3X from last year. It expects to launch new products throughout the rest of the year. (Thun Hoon, 29/07/15)
Comment: I’ve never met the company, but I’ve marveled at the way the stock has been brokered all the way to 50x earnings.

BEAUTY
BEAUTY plans to expand overseas, especially in ASEAN, first in Indonesia and Malaysia. It expects 2Q15 earnings to be good, with good earnings continuing in 2H15. (Thun Hoon, 29/07/15)

BIGC
BIGC reported 2Q15 earnings of Bt1.9bn (+4.7% growth) with revenue of Bt34bn aided by SSS growth and expansion in its customer base. It expects to expand its business by opening more branches. It is confident 2015 sales will achieve its target. (Thun Hoon, 29/07/15)
Comment: Expect to see more cost cutting measures by BIGC, there is very little that they can now do to push top line growth.

AEONTS

Comment: AEONTS was typically one of the stalwarts that consistently grew year in year out, that is until this year of course. Could they turnaround this year? Doubt it. But still a nicely conservatively run business here.
AQ
AQ has backlog of Bt2bn. It expects to launch 4-5 low-rise projects. It expects presales to hit its target of Bt2.5bn supported by presales of Bt2bn in 1H15. (Kao Hoon, 13/7/15)
Comment: Nice turnaround story, but its fully priced in.
BMCL
Blue line MRT – The company is hoping for good news from the Transport Ministry on the extension of its Blue Line MRT service after a long period of losses. (Kao Hoon, 13/7/15)

BRR expects to bid for a biomass power plant. The third plant is under construction and is expected to finish in 2016. (Kao Hoon, 13/7/15)

Comment: It listed and the response was weak. But overall still a positive step for AMATA

BDMS
BDMS buys Muangraj Hospital for Bt1.43bn It expects the deal to be concluded by September. (Khao Hoon, 02/07/15)

CI
CI expects 2015 revenue to grow 15% from 2014’s Bt1.69bn, benefitting from booking revenue from condominiums. Its backlog is expected to increase from Bt5bn. Its Bt1.15bn REIT is expected to be finalized next year. (Thun Hoon, 02/07/15)
