AOT has revised up its five-year investment plan from Bt140bn to Bt170bn. It expects nonaeronautical revenue to comprise 50% within three years. (Thun Hoon, 29/04/16)
BBL
NBTC seeks more info from BBL on Jas’s failure to pay licence upfront fee – THE NATIONAL Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission will ask for more information from BBL regarding Jas Mobile Broadband’s failure to pay the initial upfront fee for its 900MHz license by the March 21 deadline. (The Nation, 29/04/16)
Comment: As if BBL really has to say anything…the NBTC is just trying to cover their ar$es for cocking up the auction
 
BH
BH targets 2016 revenue growth of 8-10% from last year’s Bt17.9bn. It expects growth rate to be lower than 12% for 2011-2015 because of the economic slowdown. (Post Today, 29/04/16)
Comment: One interesting tidbit that I learnt was that the medical inflation in Thailand is one of the highest globally @ ~15% p.a.
 
BIG
BIG will pay a dividend of Bt0.06/share, paid on May 23. It expects 2016 revenue and net profit to be good. It plans to focus on the high-end market. It targets market share of 65% this year and 70% in 2017. (Thun Hoon, 29/04/16)

CK
CK targets 2016 backlog to hit Bt200bn from Bt83bn. It says this will cover revenue for 3-4 years. It plans to take part in Bt480bn in bids, and get 20-25% to add to backlog. It will sign a contract with a Bt21.2bn project. It targets 2016 revenue of 38-40bn. (Thun Hoon, 29/04/16)
Comment: Slight delays in this government infrastructure spending isn’t exactly a negative for the larger contractors like CK, it gives them time and the capacity to bid for more and more projects that they may have not otherwise received if everything was released at one go..

Comment: Part of expectations to an extent however the question how comes how/why/when would they bid /receive the spectrum that JAS failed to pay for 
AIRA
AIRA plans to launch nano-finance in May. It targets people aged between 20-55 years old with maximum credit of Bt50,000. It will open its first branch in Silom Complex. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/16)
CI
CI indicates 1Q16 earnings will exceed target of Bt500-600mn supported by more project transfers. It expects 2016 revenue will hit target of Bt3bn. It has backlog of more than Bt2.5- 2.6bn, of which it will realize 50% this year. The company will book a Bt1.2bn extra gain from the sale of Sripanwa phase 2 to REIT in 2H16. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/16)
Comment: They’re beginning to perform like a decent property developer. 
FPI
FPI board approved a dividend of Bt0.07/share, payment on April 29. It sets 2016 revenue target growth of 10%. It plans to build a factory in India and start operating in 4Q16. It has orders amounting to more than Bt300mn. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/16)
GPSC
GPSC plans to spend Bt3.15bn to invest in a 20.8MW solar farm in Japan. It expects to sell electricity in 4Q16. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/16)

ADVANC has budgeted Bt7bn to expand to fixed broadband and plans to be a big player within 3-5 years. It expects 2016 revenue to be close to 2015’s Bt156bn with EBITDA growth of 37- 38%. It guarantees a dividend of 100% of net profit. (Thun Hoon, 08/03/16)
Comment: 1) I think the news meant EBITDA margin 2) This is lower, as expected, versus last year ~40% 3) Now the only issues that remain are in regards a) How much revenue will be lost from those subscribers that haven’t crossed over b) How will the agreement look w/ TOT

AKR
AKR expects the government to conclude solar farm projects on March 11. It plans to invest in 40MW in renewable energy. The company will invest in 20MW and EPC in 20MW. It targets revenue growth of 50% to Bt3.2mn, backed by bids for transformer work to add to its backlog. (Thun Hoon, 08/03/16)

DCORP
DCORP is confident it will have a profit this year, supported by the startup of a 300 MW solar cell factory in 2H16. It expects shareholders to approve the investment in YINGLI. (Kao Hoon, 08/03/16)

GOLD
GOLD is confident that profit in 2016 will higher than last year. It targets revenue of Bt9.8mn and will book profit from sale of assets to a REIT of over Bt130mn each year. It expects to open 15 new projects worth more than Bt16.4bn. (Kao Hoon, 08/03/16)

Asset Bright is expanding its business. It is preparing to open “ABC Pet World”, the biggest pet shopping center in Thailand, hopefully in 3Q16. It sees the pet market as valuated at Bt20bn with annual growth of 10-15%. (Khao Hoon, 18/2/16)
Comment: Perhaps instead of me mocking ABC continuously I should be supportive of these entrepreneurial projects that the company is undertaking from solar, to condominiums, to hotels, to internet services and now a Pet world…

AIT
AIT reported net profit of Bt532.5mn in 2015. The decrease in net profit is due to customers delaying their investment in IT. The board has approved a dividend of Bt1.5 on 2H15. It targets revenue growth of 10% supported by ICT industry recovery. (Khao Hoon, 18/2/16)
Comment: The whole industry suffered last year, mainly b/c of the lack of action by the government.

BSM
BSM negotiating with partner to invest in a new big project. The progress in the JV with a partner in Australia will be clear in 2Q16. It expects revenue in 2016 of Bt700mn supported by exports. (Thun Hoon, 18/2/16)
Comment: I have always liked this company but never cared for its valuation…

DRT
DRT sets revenue target at Bt4.2bn or growth of 5% in 2016 supported by exports. It plans to increase revenue in CLMV+I. The company plans to sell its products to property developers in Myanmar and Cambodia. (Khao Hoon, 18/2/16)
Comment: I still have doubts on their ability to grow, a value trap potentially if one isn’t careful..

Comment: And yet they still have one of the worst inventory turnover’s I’ve seen…

KCE
KCE’s 2015 net profit was Bt2.24bn (+6.2% YoY) with sales growth of 10.3% to Bt12bn. 4Q15 net profit was Bt630mn, hitting a new high. (Khao Hoon, 17/2/16)
Comment: No surprise if you’ve been following this company for the past few years..

KTC
KTC expects to see 2016 financial performance to be in line with 2015. NPL is expected to reduce to 2.1%. It plans to do business aggressively to boost market shares. (Khao Hoon, 17/2/16)
Comment: We’ve said this since last year, the issue for KTC now is no longer operational, its sales, growing revenue and I doubt that they’ll be able to do more than 2x the industry growth rate unless they shift into other products.

MAJOR
MAJOR looks more to non-film revenue – MAJOR will renovate some of its cinemas nationwide in a bid to achieve almost 12% revenue growth from group bookings and events. It expects 11.8% growth in group bookings to Bt190mn this year. It believes this business has great potential despite contributing only a small proportion of total ticket sales. (Bangkok Post, 17/02/16)
Comment: I’ve always liked this company, perhaps for the first time in a while it may be time to relook at it if they can monetise their assets better..

Comments: It’s been on a tear in the past few months, a combination of acquisitions and the government spending incentive all helped.

EA
EA expects 4Q15 earnings to be good boosted by revenue contribution from every project. It plans to invest Bt23bn in a wind power plant. It is looking for partner. (Thun Hoon, 15/01/16)
Comment: No surprise here, everything still seems to be on track

FIRE
FIRE expects 2016 revenue to grow 20% aided by expanding abroad with a focus on Cambodia. It is budgeting Bt100mn to invest in Cambodia by as a distributor or outright acquisition. It expects this to be clear in 2017. It expects 2018 revenue of Bt1bn. (Khao Hoon, 15/01/16)

FPI
FPI expects 2016 revenue to be good after it has set up a JV in India. It expects this to increase orders by Bt300mn. It expects 2016 net profit to rise backed by the baht depreciation. It targets 2016 revenue growth of 20%. It has budgeted Bt150mn for investment. (Thun Hoon, 15/01/16)

GL
GL expects high 2015 net profit growth with a record high in 4Q15 driven by HP in Laos and Cambodia. It expects net profit to grow 96% on average for the next three years. (Khao Hoon, 15/01/16)
Comment: A former darling of ours and well they would have to grow at these levels just to justify their existing valuation

BECL/BMCL The cabinet has approved the amalgamation of BECL and BMCL with a new ticker, BEM. BECL will hold a joint shareholder meeting (BECL-BMCL) on Dec 28. Trading in BECL and BMCL shares will be suspended from Dec 21-30. (Thun Hoon, 09/12/15)
Comment: I am absolutely curious to see if BEM will become a must have investment for institutional investors, it just sounds right.

CBG
CBG is talking to a prospective partner in Indonesia which it expects to finalize in 1Q16. It expects this to increase its exports. It expects 2015 net profit to mark a new high backed by numerous orders. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 10% from this year. (Thun Hoon, 09/12/15)
Comment: We’ve heard this story before….ICHI, SAPPE, “we’re expanding to indonesia and growth will be amazeballs” Neither of the two have exactly panned out just yet, such things take years of development and marketing

CK
CK bids lowest for Bt23.4bn dual-track project (Jira – Khon Kaen). It expects to sign the contract with the SRT this year, as well as the Chachoengsao – Kang Koi dual-track project. It expects the SRT to ask approval from the cabinet on Dec 15. (Khao Hoon, 09/12/15)
Comment: They are carving up the pie nicely, first STEC, now CK, so now its either ITD or UNIQ that wins the next project
