EPCO
EPCO expects 2016 net profit growth to be higher than 50% as it plans to invest in power plants at home and overseas to bring capacity to 200MW. BRR says investors from Singapore are interested in its shares because of its strong fundamentals. It will hold a site visit on December. Comment: A weakening thai baht is +ve for all of electronic manufacturers, except perhaps SVI as the majority of their customers are based in Europe (albeit Scandinavia)

CCP
CCP expects 2H15 earnings to be good after the rainy season has passed. It plans to expand to neighboring countries as it
has got order from Cambodia. It backlog is Bt2.3bn. It plans to take part in Bt1bn biddings of which 50% is expected to be awarded. (Thun Hoon, 11/11/15)
Comment: It appears for CCP that a lot of the potential future projects have already been priced in for quite a while

CHOW
CHOW expects 3Q15 earnings to grow 1200%YoY on the back of revenue from construction and power business. Comment: It’s the same story every couple of years for AIS, in the end they are still the largest player, they still have the cleanest balance sheet and they’ll still continue to dominate.

AEONTS reported 2QFY15 net profit of Bt731mn (+40%QoQ). It plans to pay an interim dividend of Bt1.6/share. It targets FY2015 loan growth of 3-4% aided by government stimulus measures. It plans to expand its credit card customer base in Bangkok from its existing 2mn cards. (Thun Hoon, 24/09/15)
Comment: Ex its 1 time gain, earnings growth was only single digits for AEONTS
BEC
BEC expects 2015 revenue to drop by 5-10% and net profit to drop more than 10% from last year. It expects its performance to be better than peers. It says the drop in performance was caused by the economic slowdown and high competition. (Khao Hoon, 24/09/15)
Comment: While they may still be #1, their financial performance just shows the damage that digital TV has done to incumbents.
DCON
DCON plans to focus on power, construction and materials, and property businesses. It expects 3Q15 earnings to be good backed by large orders. It expects 2016 performance to turn around. (Thun Hoon, 24/09/15)
DEMCO

EFORL
EFORL plans to list Wuttisak to obtain funds to repay its debt of Bt3.4bn. It expects 2015 revenue of Bt4.2bn after achieving Bt2.2bn in 1H15. 1H15 net profit reached Bt153mn (+54%). (Khao Hoon, 20/08/15)
Comment: Interesting but its still trading at a rather ridiculous valuation of THB 9 bn

ILINK
ILINK expects 2015 net profit of Bt300mn on the back of higher sales. It plans to bid for Bt5-6bn in projects which it hopes will raise backlog from Bt150mn. It plans to list a subsidiary on mai. (Thun Hoon, 20/08/15)

ARROW
ARROW expects 2Q15 earnings to be close to 1Q15’s Bt62.16mn. It is confident 2015 revenue will reach Bt1.2bn, backed by numerous orders. Comment: A wonderful grower in the past 2 years, the only question here is capacity constraint going to be an issue?

BDMS

Issues clarification of news – Khun Phongsak Sirikoop, CEO and M.D. of DEMCO clarifies news printed in a local paper: 1) It has not yet announced 1Q earnings. 2) It has not provided any information with regards to the process of selling Khun Nopporn’s shares. 3) It has also not released information regarding the purchaser of WEH stock in an equal proportion to Khun Nopporn’s shares. Comment: Not a bad trade by the owner, the company still doesn’t generate any profits worthy of its valuation, its unlikely to anytime in the future.

AQUA expects its performance to improve YoY as it will start booking revenue from its solar power business in Japan. Its first solar farm in Japan will commence operation in 2Q15. Further, its warehouse business, via a subsidiary, will expand its space by 70%. The company plans to list this subsidiary in the near future. (Thun Hoon, 18/02/15)

BH
BH’s shares are favored by foreign investment funds because of the high rate of return. Also, healthcare companies are of interest to global investors. (Khao Hoon, 18/02/15)

CEI plans to reduce par value to Bt0.25/share as well as increase capital via a rights offering at the ratio of 3:1 at Bt0.25/share and private placement of 95.73mn shares at not lower than 90% of market price. Management plans to focus more on renewable energy, property development and e-commerce. CEI has invested Bt80mn to acquire W. Solar shares from WIN to develop solar rooftop project.
