AOT
The board of directors of Airports of Thailand’s (AOT) yesterday approved the master plan for the development of Chiang Mai airport. The project will be carried out in two phases. The first, set for 2016 to 2025, is aimed at boosting the airport’s passenger capacity to serve 18 million travelers a year. In the second phase, from 2026 to 2030, the capacity will be further increased to serve 20 million passengers per year, of which 8 million will be international passengers and 12 million domestic travelers. Comment: And the monopoly will continue growing, interesting fact learnt last night, Thailand has ~30-40 mn visitors p.a., Spain has ~70mn. 
 
EGCO
EGCO expects to book revenue from Khanom power plant unit 4 in 3Q16 and expects to start commercial operations on June 19, 2016. The Chaiyaphum wind farm is expected to start up in late 2016. It plans to expand its business abroad, with an eye especially on the Philippines. It plans to cooperate with a partner to invest in a battery storage electrical system. (Kao Hoon, 26/5/16)
EPG
EPG expects 2017 revenue to grow to Bt10bn supported by continued growth in its overall business. Government projects will increase construction materials demand. It expects the board to approve new investment. (Thun Hoon, 26/5/16)
Comment: But the driver is still going to be the shift from metal based materials on automotives to plastic based. 
 
FN
FN sent filing to the SEC for an IPO of 250 million shares. It plans to expand its branches and renovate old branches. (Thun Hoon, 26/5/16)
GOLD
GOLD expects 2Q16 to be good supported by property tax incentives. It expects 2016 revenue will hit its target of Bt9.7bn supported by more demand. It plans to build a condo and open 12 new projects. This will increase its backlog from Bt4bn. (Thun Hoon, 26/5/16)
Comment: Their issue, just as we have already seen with PS, is that there is a certain limitation to how far a property company can grow in Thailand as Bangkok is the only real targetable market.
 
GUNKUL
GUNKUL plans to acquire a company that has a solar farm PPA. It expects to get 150MW this year. It expects more revenue in 2H16. It plans to increase its revenue target of Bt5.8bn in 3Q16. (Thun Hoon, 26/5/16)

GL has a five-year plan to grow profit 10X after growing 100% in 1Q16. It is negotiating to acquire three businesses. (Kao Hoon, 16/5/16)
Comment: A former darling and now I don’t know quite understand how to justify its existing valuation. But I’ve been proven wrong many a time over the past decade and a half…
 
NDR
NDR expects 2Q16 earnings will be good supported by the good response to its new product “air lock”. It targets 2016 sales growth of 25% from 2015. It plans to expand its business in Thailand and abroad. The BOI approved its solar roof project. It expects to start operating in 2H16. This will reduce electricity cost by 10%. (Thun Hoon, 16/5/16)

BANPU
BANPU reported 3Q15 net loss of Bt72.27mn due to lower coal price. It plans to list Banpu Power on the SET to expand its electricity business. It expects electricity production to be 2.4MW. (Khao Hoon, 12/11/15)
Comment: Brokers are still trying to push banpu as a buy, I still just don’t see it.

BJCHI
BJCHI reported 3Q15 profit of Bt419mn, growth of 63% YoY. It plans to bid for projects. (Khao Hoon, 12/11/15)
Comment: Shouldn’t this make people less worried about the future of BJCHI?

CPALL
CPALL reported 3Q15 net profit of Bt3.258bn, growth of 20.8%. Its revenue is Bt100.063bn with 9.60% growth YoY. The growth came from expanding 7-Elven stores to 8,618 or 30.7% growth. (Khao Hoon, 12/11/15)
Comment: And we are all still waiting for MAKRO’s share price to rise above THB 40/share so that CPALL may finally sell a stake there.

CSS
CSS reported 3Q15 net profit of Bt191.97mn with 30% growth YoY. Its growth came from business expansion. It expects 4Q15 earnings to be impressive and is ready to enter into telecommunication and energy business. It targets this year’s revenue at Bt4.8-5.0bn or 20-25% growth. (Khao Hoon, 12/11/15)
Comment: It seems priced and we’re rather surprised that the stock didn’t run further on the back of the 4G announcements.

Comment: Clever move on the part of BBL, never cared much about this so-called long term “Phoenix” project that IRPC have been touting for years.

CHO
BMA insists NPG project is transparent. In response to Bestrin Group’s appeal to the prime minister to investigate the transparency of the NPG bus project, the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority insists the bid for NGV bus project was transparent and it will go ahead and sign two contracts with CHO to provide the NGV buses and maintenance services in June. DNA/TCC
DNA acquired 8.32% stake in TCC for Bt180mn. TCC expects revenue to grow 10% this year on the back of rising demand. (Thun Hoon, 19/6/15)

Comment: Its the traditional expansion of any sugar company in Thailand, however with the brazilian currency being hammered their sugar exports are causing global sugar prices to decrease, this isn’t a good omen for any thai sugar plant

CCP
CCP expanding production capacity for concrete sleeper for infrastructure project worth Bt1.99trn. Management plans to set up a subsidiary to invest in new machines. 2Q15 profit is expected to jump from transfers and new jobs. (Thun Hoon, 25/05/15)

KTIS
Expects growth in 2015 profit and believes that the sugar price will stand at 14.8 cents/pound this year. Its 50MW biomass power plant is expected to start up in 2Q15 and the other is expected to startup in 4Q15. (Khao Hoon, 25/05/15)

BEAUTY
BEAUTY reported 2014 net profit of Bt301.16mn (+45.451%) with a 112.28% YoY increase in 4Q14 net profit. It will pay a 2014 dividend of Bt0.99/share and reduce par to Bt0.1/share. (Thun Hoon, 9/3/15)
Comment: Incredible numbers out of beauty. They’ve proven me wrong, who knew thai consumers loved this brand that much.
BTS
CP Group, Thai Beverage Co., and BTS are negotiating with Ministry of Transportation for investment in high speed train for Bangkok-Hua Hin and Bangkok-Rayong. This is to enhance their logistics and property businesses. The Ministry of Transportation expects the concession will be finalized by year-end. (Prachacharti Turakij, 9/3/15)
