A Japanese fund is interested in investing in KCE and expects to make a decision soon. It will spend Bt200mn to renovate its factory at Ayutthaya, with operations starting back up in 4Q16. It targets 2016 revenue growth of 10% from 2015, supported by more orders. (Thun Hoon, 25/08/16)
KSL
KSL targets 2016 revenue growth of 20% thanks to an increase in sugar price (2016-2017) of 30% to US$0.21/pound from US$0.15/pound last year. It plans to expand its sugar mill and is bidding for a PPA biomass power plant. (Thun Hoon, 25/08/16)

It expects 2Q16 earnings to be good thanks to cost control. It expects 2016 revenue and net profit to grow, boosted by Bt300mn from its services business. It expects exports to comprise 50%. AOT reports passengers of 81mn in the first 8 months of its fiscal year (ending Sep), up 12.43%. Flights rose 10% to 519,140. (Khao Hoon, 24/06/16)

BBL targets 2016 loan growth of 3-4%. It expects 2Q16 earnings to move with the economy and government stimulus measures. (Khao Hoon, 24/06/16) BIG BIG says it has risen to a 55% market share driven by expansion. It expects the industry to recover. It expects net profit to grow 71% this year and 12% next year. Comment: Every property developer should be off to a cracking start this year, the question is only will it be sustainable.

ROJNA targets to sell 400-500 rai of land in this year on the back of planned additional investment by Japanese and Chinese clients. Comment: Again something that the market should already know by now, but is it priced in? Do people believe in the management’s capability to expand this heavily into solar?

SOLAR

AKR targets 2016 revenue growth of 25% backed by robust earnings every quarter after it adjusted its strategy. It plans to focus on marketing campaigns and increase inventory in 1Q16. Comment: Again the issue with AKR is that there are just better companies doing the same business in the market. 
CCP
CCP got concrete orders on motorway project (Pattaya-Mabtaphut), valued at Bt500mn. This will increase its 2016 backlog. It expects 2016 revenue of to Bt2.6bn. It expects to benefit from public projects and property projects. (Khao Hoon, 10/02/16)
Comment: A Definitely beneficiary from all this infrastructure spending, but it seems rather priced in already
DCON
DCON expects 2016 revenue to reach Bt1.15bn aided by a larger customer base. Its management is okay with a capital increase as it will support fundamentals and decrease its D/E ratio to 0.2X. It is budgeting Bt400mn to buy land. It plans to pay a dividend at a payout ratio of not less than 25%. (Thun Hoon, 10/02/16)

BCP to list renewable energy arm. The state-majority-owned Bangchak Petroleum Plc (BCP) plans to list its renewable energy arm BCPG on the SET next year, a decade after it diversified into the sector. The company operates a dozen solar farms nationwide with a combined capacity of 118 megawatts. Management said BCP was also in talks with several renewable energy operators including geothermal power plants in Malaysia and Indonesia as well as domestic operators of biomass and biogas facilities for possible mergers and acquisitions. Comment: Their renewable energy business was been on the bright shining lights of BCP’s continued improvement in performance (ex oil prices) in the past few years

BTS expects to sign two Green Line extension contracts this year and plans to use Bt16bn capex to buy 40 additional trains. (Khao Hoon, 10/09/15)
Comment: And the monopoly on the sky train shall continue!  Positive point – would you really want the Thai Government to be responsible for the BTS?
BRR
BRR expects strong earnings this year backed by strong sugar orders and revenue from its power business. BRR’s management said the government is talking with partners about investing in an ethanol plant and expects the project to be concluded in 4Q15. Comment: AEONTS was typically one of the stalwarts that consistently grew year in year out, that is until this year of course. Could they turnaround this year? Doubt it. But still a nicely conservatively run business here.

Comment: BAFS has always been a good dividend growth play, and if the airport expansion goes ahead with Suvaranbhumi then this company will grow along with it as well.

BJC

BJC expects revenue growth QoQ in 2Q14 due to a clearer political situation. It maintains revenue growth target of 10-15% YoY in 2014. It will continue its investment plans of Bt5bn to bring the proportion of overseas revenue to 50% by 2018. (Khao Hoon, 30/05/14)

CHOW

CHOW announces solar power plant of 18MW worth Bt1.8bn in Japan, expected to finish and revenue booked in 3Q14. Management says that it is investing in solar energy to support business and increase equity value in the long term. (Tun Hoon, 30/05/14)

ANAN – Ananda plans Bt20bn projects in second half – Ananda Development, confident of the continuing strength of residential demand, plans to launch condominium projects worth more than Bt2bn over the remainder of the year. (The Nation, 18/07/13)
AOT cutting par value — AOT is to reduce par value from Bt10.00 to Bt1.00 after prices have increased to Bt180.00 to increase liquidity. Financial institutions said that after the reduction in par value, AOT shares would increase by 14.285bn shares and share prices will be no less than Bt20.00. Management is confident that revenues this year will increase by 5%, supported by the rise in passengers to more than 57mn. It is also to increase the non-air revenue proportion by 50%.
