ACAP plans to expand to Cambodia and Myanmar via subsidiary “Capital OK” and expects to conclude the deals this year. It targets loans to reach Bt3bn after reported 1H16 loans of Bt2.1bn. It plans to issue a new debenture worth Bt600mn in 4Q16. It expects to list a subsidiary on the SET. (Thun Hoon, 25/07/16)
Comment: It isn’t unimagineable to see Thai financial co’s to gain strong market share in Laos and Cambodia, Myanmar however, could be a tougher nut to crack
 
AKR
AKR expects 2016 revenue growth of 25% supported by outstanding 2H16 earnings. It expects 2016 earnings to be expanded by government projects such as mass transit lines, SEZ and property that will support demand. (Thun Hoon, 25/07/16)
BKD
BKD expects 2H16 to be good. It plans to bid for 2-3 new jobs worth Bt3bn, of which it expects to get Bt1.5bn. It has backlog of more than Bt1.7bn and expects to book this in 3Q16. (Khao Hoon, 25/07/16)
CHG
CHG spent Bt600mn to invest in Ruamphat Chacherngsao Hospital. Construction will begin this September and it will open in 2018. (Khao Hoon, 25/07/16)
GOLD
GOLD expects to report good earnings in 2Q16 in mid-August. Its presales hit Bt8.5bn for the first half of the year with Bt3bn backlog. (Khao Hoon, 25/07/16)
Comment: The story for this company is rather well covered, residential property sales with some offices and a REIT.
 
IVL
IVL expects 2Q16 net profit to reach Bt2.5bn driven by higher sales and higher spread between PTA and PET. (Thun Hoon, 25/07/16)
Comment: And another revaluation of an acquisition ?
 
LIT
LIT expects 2H16 earnings to be good from seasonality in 3Q16. It expects revenue, net profit, and loan portfolio to grow not less than 30%. It expects 2016 performance to mark a record high. (Thun Hoon, 25/07/16)

Comment: This implies a 20% revenue growth for AMATA this year.

ARROW
ARROW is confident that revenue in 2016 will reach Bt1.4bn supported by more order, an increase in market share to 65% and expansion of factory and machinery. (Khao Hoon, 24/02/16)
Comment: What property slowdown? As long as the number of buildings continue to increase then ARROW is in good shape. A consistent grower over the past few years.

BIG
BIG reported net profit of Bt459mn, growth of 235%, on a gain in market share to over 50% and total revenue of Bt1.62bn. It targets revenue growth of no less than 10%, supported by expanding to high-end customers. It will pay a dividend of Bt0.6/share, XD on April 29. (Khao Hoon, 24/02/16)
Comment: I’ll be reading their notes to the financial statements w/ a lot of questions…

CHO
CHO reported profit in 2015 of Bt35mn, less than last year. This was due to a fall in total revenue and impact from the cancellation of the NGV bus. The board approved a stock dividend in the ratio 10 old shares for 1 new share, XD on April 27. It targets revenue growth of 5-10% in 2016. (Khao Hoon, 24/02/16)

Asset Bright is expanding its business. It is preparing to open “ABC Pet World”, the biggest pet shopping center in Thailand, hopefully in 3Q16. It sees the pet market as valuated at Bt20bn with annual growth of 10-15%. (Khao Hoon, 18/2/16)
Comment: Perhaps instead of me mocking ABC continuously I should be supportive of these entrepreneurial projects that the company is undertaking from solar, to condominiums, to hotels, to internet services and now a Pet world…

AIT
AIT reported net profit of Bt532.5mn in 2015. The decrease in net profit is due to customers delaying their investment in IT. The board has approved a dividend of Bt1.5 on 2H15. It targets revenue growth of 10% supported by ICT industry recovery. (Khao Hoon, 18/2/16)
Comment: The whole industry suffered last year, mainly b/c of the lack of action by the government.

BSM
BSM negotiating with partner to invest in a new big project. The progress in the JV with a partner in Australia will be clear in 2Q16. It expects revenue in 2016 of Bt700mn supported by exports. (Thun Hoon, 18/2/16)
Comment: I have always liked this company but never cared for its valuation…

DRT
DRT sets revenue target at Bt4.2bn or growth of 5% in 2016 supported by exports. It plans to increase revenue in CLMV+I. The company plans to sell its products to property developers in Myanmar and Cambodia. (Khao Hoon, 18/2/16)
Comment: I still have doubts on their ability to grow, a value trap potentially if one isn’t careful..

Comment: I’ve been surprised by their continuing positive performance but I still have doubts on their sustainability

BJCHI
BJCHI’s board has approved the share repurchase program for the purposes of financial management. It has set the maximum at not exceeding Bt250mn, equal to 40mn shares (2.5% of registered shares). It expects this to confirm its good outlook in the minds of investors and to give them the message that current share price is undervalued. It targets 2016 revenue growth of 15%. Comment: Oil price drop? Who cares! Obviously not BJCHI’s board with their announcement yesterday to do a share buyback.

COLOR
COLOR targets 2016 revenue growth of 7-8% backed by Bt150mn in transfers contributing revenue in 2Q16. It expects to take part in upcoming bids. It plans to expand to ASEAN, Australia, and Europe. (Khao Hoon, 14/01/16)

DCORP
DCORP signed contract with Yingli Solar to set up a solar cell plant for Bt689mn. It expects this to start up by 2H16. (Thun Hoon, 14/01/16)

DEMCO
DEMCO expects 2016-2017 revenue to grow driven by construction, steel structure, and service businesses. It expects 2016 revenue of Bt6-6.5bn. (Post Today, 14/01/16)
Comment: Effectively 4Q15 was crap, 1Q16 will be crap and in a perfect world 2Q16 returns to normal.

Comment: AIRA is continuing along its aim to become an investment holdco. 
BEAUTY
BEAUTY plans to increase its distribution channels. It targets revenue to grow 27-30% within three years. (Thun Hoon, 01/10/15)
Comment: It’s a business I just don’t understand, and I still don’t see where their competitive advantage comes from other than pure pricing. 
BH
BH plans to set up diagnosis centers in Cambodia, Laos, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar after Myanmar. It has budgeted Bt11bn to invest in a second hospital. It is confident 2015 revenue will grow 10% from 2014’s Bt16bn. (Thun Hoon, 01/10/15)
