BIGC plans big expansion – THE NEW board of directors of Big C Supercenter, controlled by Berli Jucker Group, has approved the plan to allocate Bt5bn-Bt6bn for store expansion in Thailand this year, focusing on “blue ocean” locations, including subordinate and border provinces, and major districts. Comment: Thats rather interesting given that the previous management didn’t see any more growth potential in the country..
 
BJCHI
BJCHI announced 1Q16 earnings of Bt338.7mn (+110%) with Bt2.1bn in revenue, up 40%. It is waiting for bidding results. It expects 2016 revenue to grow not less than 15% as its work on hand is Bt1.7bn. (Thun Hoon, 18/05/16)

CI
CI indicates 1Q16 earnings will exceed target of Bt500-600mn supported by more project transfers. It expects 2016 revenue will hit target of Bt3bn. FPI
FPI board approved a dividend of Bt0.07/share, payment on April 29. It sets 2016 revenue target growth of 10%. It plans to build a factory in India and start operating in 4Q16. It has orders amounting to more than Bt300mn. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/16)

BCP
BCP is budgeting Bt20bn for add 60 gas stations. It plans to list a subsidiary in 4Q16. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)

BJCHI
BJCHI reported its highest net profit at Bt1.32bn in 2015 supported by continuous construction of FPSO’s P75&77 projects. It targets 2016 revenue to grow not less than 15% thanks to Bt3.7bn backlog. It expects to be awarded new projects in April. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)

CHO received orders for five catering trucks from customer in UAE, valued at Bt40mn. Delivery is to be in mid-2016. It expects to get 15 more orders, all of which will provide 10% revenue growth this year. (Khao Hoon, 27/01/16)

DCC
DCC expects 2015 net profit of Bt1.3bn with Bt7.1bn sales. Its board has approved a dividend payment of Bt0.05/share, XD on Feb 26. (Khao Hoon, 27/01/16)

KCM
KCM is talking to a Chinese partner about importing solar cells. It expects this to generate Bt50-100mn revenue. It plans to set up a steel rolling mill in Cambodia. EARTH

Comment: That is impressive, a couple of reasons for it 1) lower costs 2) high GPM’s on products 3) Is upcountry really buying that much more? 
EPG
EPG’s management feels confident about FY2H15 outlook (October 2015-March 2016) owing to seasonality and the weakening baht. The firm also maintains positive revenue guidance at Bt9bn for FY 2016. (Than Hoon, 08/10/15)
Comment: It’s quite the interesting niche company with a massive global footprint. 
FIRE
FIRE has decreased its target revenue growth in 2015 from 15% to 10%. It plans to expand abroad and expects to open an office in Cambodia next year. It expects revenue growth in 2016 at no less than 15%. (Kao Hoon, 08/10/15)

EPCO targets 500MW power capacity within 2-3 years, 100MW this year. Management says the deal with a Japanese and European company is expected to be finalized soon. It plans to invest in a biomass power plant in South with a partner, expected to conclude this week. (Khao Hoon, 14/07/15)

ILINK signs an MOU with a UK firm to engage in cloud solutions services. They will focus on television-media clients. It expects 2016 revenue of Bt10-20mn from this business. 1Q15 earnings and revenue grew 30% while 2015 profit is expected at Bt280mn with revenue of Bt3bn. (Khao Hoon, 28/05/15)
Comment: One of my first multi baggers back in ’06, cloud solutions, depending upon how they do could be wildly profitability (margins of 80-90% are possible)

KBANK
KBANK is collaborating with the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) on business matching for Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises that plan to run businesses in Thailand. (Thun Hoon, 28/05/15)
