BIG is budgeting Bt200-150mn to expand its business by opening more branches. It expects 2015 revenue to mark a record high and to pay its first dividend. It expects 2016 earnings to be good. (Thun Hoon, 14/01/16)
Comment: I’ve been surprised by their continuing positive performance but I still have doubts on their sustainability

BJCHI
BJCHI’s board has approved the share repurchase program for the purposes of financial management. It has set the maximum at not exceeding Bt250mn, equal to 40mn shares (2.5% of registered shares). It expects this to confirm its good outlook in the minds of investors and to give them the message that current share price is undervalued. It targets 2016 revenue growth of 15%. Comment: Oil price drop? Who cares! Obviously not BJCHI’s board with their announcement yesterday to do a share buyback.

COLOR
COLOR targets 2016 revenue growth of 7-8% backed by Bt150mn in transfers contributing revenue in 2Q16. It expects to take part in upcoming bids. It plans to expand to ASEAN, Australia, and Europe. (Khao Hoon, 14/01/16)

DCORP
DCORP signed contract with Yingli Solar to set up a solar cell plant for Bt689mn. It expects this to start up by 2H16. (Thun Hoon, 14/01/16)

DEMCO
DEMCO expects 2016-2017 revenue to grow driven by construction, steel structure, and service businesses. It expects 2016 revenue of Bt6-6.5bn. (Post Today, 14/01/16)
Comment: Effectively 4Q15 was crap, 1Q16 will be crap and in a perfect world 2Q16 returns to normal.

AGE plans to implement cost control and focus on local industries especially those that have high demand for power. It expects local sales to grow 20% from 2014’s Bt3.58bn. AIRA
AIRA expects to show net profit in 2H15 from net loss in 1H15 of Bt37.8mn backed by the securities business. It plans to acquire other businesses to diversify (power business, leasing, insurance) which are expected to be clear in 2016. It has set up subsidiary “AIRA Property” to invest in rental business. Comment: AIRA is continuing along its aim to become an investment holdco. 
BEAUTY
BEAUTY plans to increase its distribution channels. It targets revenue to grow 27-30% within three years. (Thun Hoon, 01/10/15)
Comment: It’s a business I just don’t understand, and I still don’t see where their competitive advantage comes from other than pure pricing. 
BH
BH plans to set up diagnosis centers in Cambodia, Laos, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar after Myanmar. It has budgeted Bt11bn to invest in a second hospital. It is confident 2015 revenue will grow 10% from 2014’s Bt16bn. (Thun Hoon, 01/10/15)

FNS Extra gain to boost 3Q13 — FNS is to book in revenues from the sale of FSS shares worth Bt625.4mn to Finansa Securities, one of its subsidiaries. This will give it high profit in 3Q13. Moreover, Finansa Securities is expected to raise capital by Bt200mn. (Khao Hoon, 31/07/13)

Comment: Short term one time pop for the stock

PTTGC Plodprasop vows PTTGC will pay – Thailand is ill-equipped to handle the Rayong oil spill, Deputy Prime Minister Plodprasop Suraswadi admitted yesterday. He also said the government must set up a committee to handle the catastrophe. Mr Plodprasop conceded that Thailand lacked sufficient equipment to deal with the situation and prevent the oil slick from reaching the shore. Mr. Plodprasop said authorities should seek help from Singapore, which has proper equipment to contain oil slicks. The deputy premier said PTT Global Chemical Plc (PTTGC) would be “paying every baht” to cover the cost of damages, according to Mr. Teerat’s tweet. (Bangkok Post, 31/07/13)
