ECF

EGCO expects 2016 operating profit to exceed Bt8bn, growth of over 5%, after reporting operating profit of Bt4.3bn in 1H16. It continues to expand electricity business in Thailand and abroad and expects capacity to reach 5,000MW by 2019. (Kao Hoon , 05/09/16)
KTB
KTB rejigs loan price formula. Krungthai Bank (KTB), the country’s largest state-owned bank by assets, has revised its pricing formula for government and state enterprise loans to be more competitive after significant falls over the past few years. (Bangkok Post, 05/09/16)

Comment: Not sure on the timeline for this IPO but its apparently going to happen this year.
 
ECF
ECF plans to do a warehouse business in ASEAN. It has received more orders from a Japanese customer that it expects will bring in revenue of Bt12-15mn each month. It expects 2H16 earnings to be good supported by high season and is confident that revenue will achieve its target growth of 12-15%. (Thun Hoon, 04/08/16)
FSMART
FSMART expects 2Q16 earnings to be a new high with profit of Bt96.40mn or growth of 44.70%. It expects net profit to continue to rise to new highs in future quarters as it adds more online top-up machines. It expects 2016 profit at Bt379mn, up 39.50%. (Kao Hoon, 04/08/16)
Comment: Yet again this company continues to grow and grow, naturally in the next 2 years the rate of growth will begin to decline as the absolute number of machines added have a smaller impact
 
IFS
IFS reported 2Q16 net profit of Bt34.39mn, up 21% YoY due to lower provisions and a rise in NIM to 8%. It is confident that growth in factoring in 2016 will reach 15-20% from Bt26bn last year. (Thun Hoon, 04/08/16)

LPN
LPN expects 2Q16 earnings to mark a record high. It expects 2H16 earnings to be better than 1H16 aided by Bt5bn in transfers and Bt5.8bn backlog. It expects 2016 sales to reach Bt17.6bn. It plans to launch 10-12 projects this year. (Khao Hoon, 16/06/16)
Comment: Well if 2Q is indeed the high, then it should be near THB 6 bn in revenues, otherwise they will have a tough time at matching last years revenue numbers 
 
PYLON
PYLON got a Bt150mn foundation project, expects to sign the contract soon. This raises its backlog to Bt750mn. It plans to take part in Bt2bn bids. It expects 2016 revenue to reach Bt1.2bn as targeted, backed by transfers. (Thun Hoon, 16/06/16)
SCN

BWG expects to win numerous waste disposal contracts after Department of Industrial Works vows to tighten its pollution control enforcement. Its 500MW PPA is expected to be finalized by 1Q16, leading to income turnaround going forward. BWG also plans to list its subsidiary, the Earth-Tech Environment co., ltd. (Thun Hoon, 21/01/16)
Comment: It’s quite interesting to see BWG’s turnaround over the past few quarters, from what was one poorly managed company they’ve somehow transitioned well to the waste to energy and waste disposal businesses (which are incredibly hard to break into…)

FORTH
FORTH expects a big earnings jump in 2015 from Bt337mn the previous year, backed by numerous orders and its subsidiary. Bt900mn has been earmarked for an investment in Top Up machine which will be deployed at home and abroad. It plans to increase backlog from the current level of Bt300mn. (Thun Hoon, 21/01/16)
Comment: Again the real value in FORTH is FSMART

FSMART
FSMART plans to partner with KBANK to provide money transfer service via Boon Term Top Up machine. It sets Bt600mn investment budget for the deployment of 25,000 additional Top Up machines this year, after installed 65,000 machines last year. It expects revenue and net profit to hit new high in 2015, followed by 30% growth in 2016. (Thun Hoon, 21/01/16)
Comment: They are continually finding more and more ways to add more value to their top-up machines, just a wonderful business model.

GUNKUL
GUNKUL expects 2016 revenue of Bt6bn (25% growth) aided by 143MW power plant. It plans to kick start 1Q16 with additional 10MW. Company believes it has enough capital to expand its investment as planned. (Thun Hoon, 21/01/16)
Comment: So for now it looks like all of the capital increases are done.

ICHI
ICHI targets 2016 revenue of Bt7.5bn on the back of cost control, market expansion, launching more marketing campaign and new products. 2015 revenue is a miss, registered only Bt6.4bn due to market slow down and increasing competition. (Khao Hoon, 21/01/16)

ATP30 has three new customers. It will supply 30 cars that will contribute revenue from the beginning of 2016. It reported 3Q15 net profit of Bt2mn. 9M15 revenue grew 14.81%. It is confident 2015 revenue will reach Bt270mn (+15%). (Khao Hoon, 17/11/15)

BMCL
BMCL reported 3Q15 net loss of Bt148.18mn (-7%). Ridership rose to 300,000, raising revenue from fares by 9.66% while commercial development revenue rose 6%. (Khao Hoon, 17/11/15)

CHOW

Comment: We do wonder at what point will CHOW begin to recognise its expansion into Japan

COL
COL expects 2016 revenue to grow 15% from Bt10bn this year. It plans to switch online sales to market place. It has budgeted Bt1bn to broaden its market at home and abroad. (Khao Hoon, 17/11/15)
Comment: A switch from online sales to market place? Wait isn’t this an ecommerce business? I have often thought aloud that for this company to be the equivalent of, say, Amazon, a change in management and mind set would be needed.

ANAN

HPT
HPT expects 2015 revenue to be unchanged from 2014, missing its target growth of 10% because it had to shut for furnace maintenance. Comment: What crack has this reporter been smoking? Yes 2Q15 was decent @ THB 3bn profits because of the inventory gain, however the company has lost some THB 12 bn in the past 3 years (’12-’14)

GPSC
GPSC has signed contract with Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co.,Ltd., Tohoku Branch (SMCC) to invest in a 20.8MW solar power plant. It expects this to start up by 2017. (Thun Hoon, 03/09/15)

Comment: Should the renewable industry be as big as people hope, AKR should at one point receive some of the spillover.

ANAN
ANAN says sales of Ananda Urban Pulse reached Bt3bn. It expects 3Q15 sales to be higher than Bt4.4bn backed by demand for condos near BTS. (Khao Hoon, 18/08/15)
Comment: I do think their marketing costs will be higher than analysts expect for the coming quarter.

AQUA
