BEAUTY expects 2016 revenue and profit to be a new high due to revenue growth of more than 45% in 2H16. It is negotiating with a partner to set up distributorship in Hong Kong and Taiwan; it expects the deal to be concluded in 4Q16. Comment: I have sat down with management and I suspect they just got lucky with the international business. Regardless its still growing and growing and growing
 
BKD
BKD will ask its board for approval to sell land for Bt500mn. It plans to take part in Bt1.5bn in bids. It expects 2016 revenue to grow not less than 20%. (Thun Hoon, 01/09/16)
CHEWA
CHEWA is confident that 2016 revenue will grow 20% from last year supported by backlog of more than Bt300mn waiting to be booked and transfers of more than Bt1.3bn. It plans to launch two projects in 2H16 valued at Bt1.94bn. (Kao Hoon, 01/09/16)
CHO
CHO expects 2016 revenue growth of more than 10% backed by backlog of Bt586mn, with Bt310mn of this booked as revenue this year. It has a new job worth Bt300mn and expects to sign the contract and book revenue this year. It has budgeted Bt800mn to expand by eight fullservice maintenance centers. (Kao Hoon, 01/09/16)
CPALL
CPALL expects SSS growth to reach 3-5% brought by 7-Eleven stamp campaign and higher purchasing power from better farm income. It targets 12,000 branches within three years, with plans to open 420 stores this year. It expects a better margin from high margin products. (Thun Hoon, 01/09/16)
Comment: And just wait for the MAKRO turnaround + debt reduction 
 
FOCUS
FOCUS is talking to a prospective partner in France to take over a waste management business and expects to invest in the power business. It expects 2016 earnings to be good and for revenue to be higher than last year. It expects to take part in Bt800mn bids, of which it expects to get 50%. (Thun Hoon, 01/ 09/16)

GPSC expects 1Q16 earnings to be above Bt600mn (+28%YoY, +117%QoQ) mainly driven by Bt180mn dividend from subsidiary RPCL. (Thun Hoon, 19/04/16)
KOOL

NWR
NWR expects to sign contract for motorway (Bang Pa-In – Korat) valued at Bt2.5bn soon. It plans to take part in Bt30bn in bids. It is studying investing in new business which is expected to raise revenue in 2017. (Khao Hoon, 19/04/16)
Comment: The issue here is that they can’t do more than what their balance sheet permits despite their best efforts

Comment: There is an impact, but with the continued increase of mainland visitors (25% of all tourists), it’s incredibly minimal, by year end things will be back to normal
BIG
BIG plans to expand to Vietnam and Malaysia. It expects 2015 net profit to be higher than 2014’s as 1H15 net profit already reached 2014’s. It targets 10% revenue growth aided by an uptrend in digital cameras. (Thun Hoon, 02/09/15)
Comment: We do wonder whether this niche product can really be attractive? 
CNT
CNT expects performance to be positive this year. It expects to benefit from public investment. It says it ready to turn to the contractor business. (Khao Hoon, 02/09/15)
Comment: The issue is still industry wide – unless there is a massive amount of project approvals then every contractor will suffer as they are fighting over the small pieces, great time to be developing a project, you can squeeze contractors w/o an issue
CPN
CPN expects 2H15 revenue to be higher than 1H15’s on the back of new projects. It targets revenue to grow 8-10% this year and 15% next year. It is considering investing in residential property worth Bt800mn-Bt1bn. (Khao Hoon, 02/09/15)

Comment: Still an amazing cash flow generating machine business

INET
INET expects 36% profit growth in 2015 to Bt600-700mn. It will focus on the cloud business supported by more demand. It targets to increase cloud business activities to 30-40% of its portfolio. In 1Q15 it reported a margin of 26.79%, up from 2014’s 22.17%. It plans to budget for system development. (Tun Hoon, 2/6/15)
Comment: Not the first company to say they are expanding into the cloud business, it all depends if they will use a system like Amazon and just resell or their own, if their own then margins could be rubbish, if reselling far better, asset light and depending upon how well they sell, amazing margins.

MCS
MCS gaining from weak baht. It is confident that 2015 revenue will reach 10,000 million yen, supported by its backlog of 150,000 tons. (Tun Hoon, 2/6/15)
Comment: It’s always been a great company, but I’m not 100% convinced that its cheap at these levels

ML
Japan’s Marubeni negotiating to buy 46.98% of ML for no less than Bt2.2/share. It plans to use the company as a base to lend to Japanese clients. (Kao Hoon, 2/6/15)

AOT
AOT preparing to raise Bt93bn for development of three airports. The board reports that the company has three choices: loans from financial institution, corporate bonds, and infrastructure fund. It expects to make the final decision in January 2015. (Kao Hoon, 21/11/14)

BJCHI
BJCHI expects revenue growth of 15% YoY in 2014. It reports growth so far in 4Q14 and will deliver projects worth Bt4bn. (Kao Hoon, 21/11/14)
Comment: If i’m not mistaken – its trading at a dividend yield of 6-7% at these levels.
