The market wobbled a bit this week because of poor China and European economic figures and the Thai Finance Minister’s commenting that he would like the baht to weaken this year because it is too strong at current levels. Well if the trade balance is weaker than last year, government borrowing more to fund projects and inflation coming towards the end of the year then yes the Thai Baht will get weaker.
