another maybe somewhat of a bear story, at least for export and foreign investment: the promise of a much higher minimum wage by phuea thai. sure, on one side workers in thailand are currently paid quite miserably; on the other side, how big will the impact of nearly doubling the minimum wage for thai manufacturers be?

It can be offset by a declining THB and more automation.
