SET wobbling at its peak
On Monday for a brief period of time the SET was able to go above 1,600 & then it subsequently tumbled some 35 pts (or -2%) since then, what are the reason(s) for this?
- Yesterday there was news about a potential counter-coup from a former PM which was subsequently debunked, but this could explain why prop traders (the major sellers yesterday) unloaded positions.
- The continued falling in oil prices has knocked the energy sector down another couple percent
- Maybe a fortune teller said something (I’m joking)
Mike
It’s doing more than wobbling now, Pon.
Any thoughts?
