Comment: This relatively small property developer has been on my radar ever since I met the owner years ago, they have this potentially huge project on Rajadamri that they’ve been planning to develop for years

BR expects 2016 net profit to be better than 2015’s Bt550mn. It targets revenue to grow 10-15%. It has budgeted Bt1.2bn to invest in slaughterhouse, ready-to-eat food production, and farm expansion. Comment: It does seem to be a recovery year for every food related company, chicken, pork, tuna you name it.
BTS
BTS is budgeting Bt100bn to take part in MRT bids (Yellow and Pink lines). It has budgeted Bt750mn to purchase shares from Line Biz Plus via its subsidiary (RabbitPay). It expects this to be completed by Apr 25. It expects this to support electronic and online payment. (Thun Hoon, 01/04/16)
Comment: Their expansion with Line has me incredibly excited. If they play their cards right they could become the first major online payment platform in Thailand
EFORL
EFORL targets 2016 revenue of Bt5bn with net profit margin of 10%. It expects this to be mainly driven by being a distributor of medical instruments and apparatus and health and beauty business. It is budgeting Bt100mn to open 20 more Wutthisak clinics in Thailand. It plans to expand to CLMV. (Khao Hoon, 01/04/16)

GCAP
GCAP targets loan growth of not less than 50% from expanding its services and adding a partner. It plans to focus on agricultural loans and financial services. It has introduced two new types of loans (personal loans and consumer credit to self-employed people). It plans to issue a Bt200mn debenture to institutional and corporate investors. (ASTV, 01/04/16)
Comment: The issue for GCAP is that they are focused on agricultural loans and with low prices and a drought I just don’t see how this is going to improve for them at all.
INTUCH

KCM expects 1Q16 earnings to be good. It expects to set up an associated company to engage in hot-rolled steel trading. It is budgeting Bt40mn to invest in warehouses for rent.
