BANPU

BTS will accept the maximum ticket fare of Bt65/trip for the whole system including the Green Line north and south extension from the BMA in exchange for extension of its concession. (Krungthep Turakij, 7/12/18)
MAJOR
MAJOR still aims to penetrate into the provincial market, where the cinema market is not yet mature compared to Bangkok. MAJOR expects this strategy to bring revenue growth of 10-15% next year. (Kao Hoon, 7/12/18)
Comment: It does appear that even though Netflix et all have come into the market, it hasn’t hurt the viewership for MAJOR. The main swing factor for them is the advertising revenue that goes straight to the bottom line
PSTC
PSTC will book extra gain of Bt280mn following the board’s approval to sell an 8% stake in TPN. The sale will bring in Bt450mn, which is sufficient for the pipeline expansion. This also eases fears of a cash call. (Thun Hoon, 6/12/18)
