Profit expected to jump to Bt3bn this year, with profit in 1Q15 at about Bt650mn. The startup of the power plant will contribute revenue of Bt2bn annually. This will raise income to Bt10bn this year. Comment: The story for EFORL is that Wuttisak was a few years ago taken over by a PE firm and then earnings and cash flow collapsed, with the backdoor listing the PE firm has exited and now the original owners and management are back in to fix things.

EGCO
EGCO interested in JV with EGATI for 1200 MW power plant in Vietnam. They plan to build a 500 MW coal-fired plant in the Philippines. It expects to get a permit within 1-2 months. However, it has cancelled the M&A deal for a coal-fired plant in India because of low return. (Thun Hoon, 23/04/15)

EPCO
This year profit and revenue are expected to rise 25% and 15% respectively. The solar power plant in Japan is progressing. Subsidiary Boh Ploy plans to list and will invest in a power plant in order to reach at least 100MW capacity. EPCO will be XD on April 27 for DPS of Bt0.18. (Khao Hoon, 23/04/15)

Ichitan turns on the juice with relaunch of Bireley’s – President and chief executive Tan Passakornnatee yesterday officially reintroduced Bireley’s to the Thai market, after acquiring the trademark rights to the Bireley’s brand for 240 million baht last year. The company will spend 200 million baht to promote the drink in the remaining eight months of the year. 1Q15 may miss target, but management maintains its revenue target this year at Bt4.5bn. Investment budget for Channel 9 (HD) and Channel 9 (Family) are Bt300-500mn and Bt150mn respectively. On April 27 the firm will meet with the government about giving up bandwidth to be auctioned for 4G. (Khao Hoon, 23/04/15)
Comment: MCOT has a big problem, no content, they can’t just push drama shows all day long like Workpoint b/c their channels are supposed to be edutertainment, definitely they are the biggest loser in this digital TV game.

MTLS
Stockholders approve DPS of Bt0.13. Management believes that loans will grow more than 30% as expected due to branch expansion of up to 300 branches. Because of the low debt to equity ratio at 0.7x, the firm can extend loans of over Bt16bn. (Khao Hoon, 23/04/15)

PYLON
PYLON studying expanding abroad. It got a job worth more than Bt100mn and will book revenue from it in 2Q15. The company is ready to move from mai to the SET. (Thun Hoon, 23/04/15)

SAWAD
The firm set the credit limit for nano-finance at Bt500mn. The nano finance project is effective today through its 1,200 branches. Interest rate for borrowing through this campaign is 36%. (Khao Hoon, 23/04/15)

SCP
SCP sets revenue target growth at 15-20% in 2015 supported by government investment. The company has factories in many provinces that gives is a competitive advantage to get a job. It has strong capital base and low D/E at 0.25x. It plans to invest to increase capacity. (Thun Hoon, 23/04/15)
Comment: Arguably SCP should be a huge beneficiary with all this infrastructure spending

SIAM
SIAM plans to take over more waste power plants after getting a PPA for more than 100 MW. The company expects 3Q15 will show a profit supported by furniture and ready-made building orders.
