EPCO plans to acquire a 50MW solar power plant in Europe. It expects to book revenue from this plant in 3Q15. It plans to set up a JV to invest in a 50MW wind power plant to increase the capacity of its subsidiary Bo-Ploy Solar. Comment: Clever move by EPCO, utilise the currency depreciation in Europe as an opportunity but I don’t know about the IRR’s on solar plants in Europe off the top of my head

2Q15 profit to be better than 2Q14’s. 1H15 refinery margin is expected to be US$13, nearly double 1H14’s US$7. The company plans to invest Bt10bn into an upstream project for hygiene and value added products. (Khao Hoon, 26/05/15)
