ABC unveils new business model — ABC will start selling its products through its website. The new model is expected to attract new customers in the credit card segment. It targets a growth in its customer base to 1 million by yearend. The company’s work on JYP concert will also support income in December. Revenue for the year is expected to hit Bt500mn. CCN
Hits ceiling on first trading day. CCN share price closed up at ceiling price of Bt3.74/share, up 199.20% from its IPO price of Bt1.25/share. Prices were driven by investors who see potential growth in the business. Management expects 2014 revenue to grow by 20%. It said proceeds will be use to increase liquidity and as working capital. DSGT
DSGT expects a jump in sales in 4Q14 on seasonality. It said revenues for the year will grow at double digit levels. It plans to expand in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar further through dealers and invest Bt800mn to increase production capacity. (Kao Hoon, 12/09/14)
Comment: Main issue for DSGT is still the performance in Indonesia which has been a drag on their earnings for the past 18 months or so

EE
EE to invest Bt1.56bn to buy 40% in SSUT in order to expand more into energy through a 240MW power plant and a 60-ton steam generation plant. (Thun Hoon, 12/09/14)

INET
INET to sign MOU with Yip In Tsoi Co., Ltd. today to help strengthen its business. INET expects to book extra income from the listing of Netbay on mai by the end of this year. It expects to receive Bt100mn in work from the government and a big lot project from the private sector. 4Q14 earnings will be the year’s strongest, with 2014 revenue of least Bt700mn. JAS
Gets green light from SEC — JAS is ready to go ahead and set up its infrastructure fund after getting permission from the SEC. It will hold a shareholders’ meeting for approval in October. (Kao Hoon, 12/09/14)

MODERN
Expects record-high profit this year — MODERN believes net profit this year will achieve a record high due to the sale of 60 million MFEC shares, booked in 2Q14. It expects 2014 revenue to reach Bt4.6bn, supported by current backlog of Bt3.1bn. It will also expand more abroad. (Kao Hoon, 12/09/14)

SITHAI
SITHAI expects 2H14 to be strong due to recovery in the economy, plus stronger consumer confidence. It will invest Bt1bn to expand production capacity further. It has set a revenue growth target for next year of 12% from this year’s revenue of Bt10.4bn. (Kao Hoon, 12/09/14)

SVI
SVI expects good earnings in 2H14, with 4Q14 sales expected to be this year’s high, driven by booking revenue from 2-3 new clients. It is confident that sales for the year will grow by at least 15% or US$300mn and targets a margin at above 9%. It said plans on new acquisitions should be finalized in 2015. (Thun Hoon, 12/09/14)
Comment: This is on the back of new customers from Europe + the US, rumours have it that they’ll buy a medical co in Europe.

TPOLY
TPOLY waiting for bid results on Bt1bn new work, expected to be announced in September-October. This would add more to its current backlog of over Bt3.2bn. It said that losses will be smaller this year – though still at double digit levels – before a turnaround next year supported by the transfer of more projects with higher margins. It said revenue for this year will be at least Bt3.4bn. It will expand its real estate business segment further and is in the process of acquiring 3-4 pieces of land. (Thun Hoon, 12/09/14)

TRUE
TRUE expects profit turnaround in 4Q14 after using the proceeds from the capital increase to repay bank loans of Bt55bn. This lowered D/E ratio to 1.5x and brings it up to investment grade, allowing foreign investors to invest in the company. Another positive is the absence of depreciation expense on 2G from September.
