FER

FOCUS plans to launch Focus Ploenchit condominium in Malaysia after a good response in Hong Kong and Singapore. It expects to show a net profit this year. It backlog is Bt300-400mn, of which 50% is expected to be booked this year. (Thun Hoon, 28/08/15)
Comment: It does say something about the attractiveness of the property market in Bangkok when even small developers like FOCUS can utilise brokers throughout the region.

GPSC

Comment: Other than Singer being a well managed company, isn’t the government’s scheme of providing interest free loans to the rural areas, which will then buy products on expensive interest rates a rather…scary scheme?

SVOA
SVOA is ready for upcoming IT bids. It expects 2015 performance to be good after reporting net profit of Bt75.4mn in 1H15, beating profit for the whole of 2014. It has no plans for stock repurchase although the stock price is lower than its book value of Bt1.9/share. (Thun Hoon, 28/08/15)

TLUXE
TLUXE has issued a bill of exchange (B/E) not exceeding Bt170mn, interest rate of 4.25% p.a. to support the business expansion of a subsidiary. It expects 2015 performance to turn back from 2014’s net loss of Bt10.66mn aided by numerous orders, including OEM from Nutrix. (Thun Hoon, 28/08/15)
