ADVANC: mulls propose JAS to buys JASIF at lower than Bt 8.5/unit in exchange of keeping rental guarantee payment of fiber network by Tripple T Broadband, tabloid.
Comment: Well that’s amusing. It’s just an IRR calculation atm.
ASAP: expects windfall from an upcoming domestic travel stimulus, revamp fleets to accommodate car rent demand upcoming holiday season, mulls expand used car franchise (asap select) by 3-5 branches from current 4 to expand sales upcountry, maintains 20% FY revenue growth target.
Comment: The trick to understand the numbers here is the selling of the older cars in the fleet post depreciation and that’s when you’re going to see the bumper in profits.
CHIC: upbeat 3Q earnings from improved in-store sales & higher spending per bill on home furnishing products, contribution from interior projects for residential developers, revamp Bangna & Ratchapruek branches to boost recurring income, firms on 20% FY revenue growth target.
Comment: I don’t quite see the value proposition in this firm….they’re up against larger, better operated, institutions.
