AMATA
AMATA is speeding up the sale of land. It has sold more than 350 rai in 3Q18. It is negotiating with customers from China and Japan who want to purchase more than 500 rai. EEC is also helping add to sales. It is confident that land sales will reach 925 rai this year. It plans to invest more in Vietnam, Myanmar and Laos. ANAN

CPN
CPN has budgeted Bt10.16bn for a subsidiary to undertake a tender offer for 50.43% of GLAND shares at Bt3.1/share. It is preparing a tender offer for the remainder for Bt9.99bn, after which it plans to delist GLAND from the SET. (Kao Hoon, 13/9/18)
Comment: This was telegraphed at the beginning of the year when the major shareholders in GLAND split their shares from the family holdco to individual’s names. The plans to delist GLAND aren’t a guarantee because its a mandatory offer.
DTAC
No grace period. The board of the NBTC on Wednesday resolved not to give a grace period for mobile phone subscribers using 850MHz spectrum on DTAC’s expiring concession. (Krungthep Turakij, 13/9/18)

GFPT

INTUCH has asked the board to raise the budget for venture capital with TMT from Bt200mn a year as it is getting more deals. TMT is investing in 12 startups and negotiating with 1-2 startups. SGP
SGP is partnering with EGAT to bid for the import of LPG. It expects 2H18 sales to rise in tandem with rising natural gas price. It has budgeted Bt600-700mn to acquire an LPG business in Bangladesh. SKY
SKY was awarded the supply and installation of a digital radio communication system for the Royal Thai Police worth Bt4.34bn, raising its backlog. It is bidding for projects with total value of Bt1bn and the results will be known this year. It says revenue will reach Bt1bn this year. (Kao Hoon, 13/9/18)
WICE
WICE expects 3Q18 results to be outstanding, underpinning 2H18 results, supported by high season. It expects revenue to be a record high of Bt1.8bn this year. It is dealing with 4-5 major customers for new orders. The deal will be concluded this year. It is negotiating with 2-3 parties to become venture capital partners in the logistics business.
