GEL expects 2016 revenue to reach Bt1.8-2bn with Bt1.8bn in backlog. It expects to book 60% of backlog this year. It plans to broaden its customer base. It posted 1H16 net profit of Bt83mn backed by large orders and cost control. (Khao Hoon, 18/08/16)
INTUCH
SINGTEL plays down talks of talks. SINGAPORE Telecommunications (Singtel) has played down news reports suggesting that it has resumed talks to acquire some of Temasek Holdings’ US$2.4-billion stake in Thailand’s Intouch Holdings. (The Nation, 18/08/16)
Comment: This is been in the market for years now, seems like they’ve figured out how to avoid the requirement for tender offers and foreign limits

K targets 2016 revenue growth of 20-25%. It expects 3Q16 and 4Q16 earnings to be robust after 2Q16 net profit of Bt14.15mn. Its board approved a cash dividend of Bt0.0555/share and a stock dividend at a ratio of 10:1, XD on Sep 22. (Khao Hoon, 18/08/16)
Comment: Well this could be interesting, if you remember not too long ago we had an interview with them and they’ll probably benefit a lot from the number of malls that are coming up over the next 3-5 years
 
MALEE
MALEE has raised its target 2016 revenue growth to 20% from 15%. It targets exports to comprise 38% at the end of this year. It plans to expand to Vietnam and Indonesia. It targets revenue of Bt10bn in 2018. (Khao Hoon, 18/08/16)

PACE plans to expand its upmarket food-and-beverage store chain in the US, Dean & DeLuca, to 300 branches by 2021 – from just 50 at present – in a bid to double the residential developer’s annual revenue to Bt25 billion in the period. (The Nation, 18/08/16)
Comment: It’ll be similar to Raimon Land in terms of earnings profile but if the D&D does pick up the expansion case the story for this company will change
 
PF
PF expects its performance to bottom out. It expects 2H16 revenue to reach Bt10bn which brought full year revenue to Bt17bn. It plans to launch 16 new projects, valued at Bt20.1bn, in 2H16. It is looking for a partner to develop a five-star hotel in Rayong. (Khao Hoon, 18/08/16)
PLAT
PLAT expects 2016 net profit to mark a record high backed by higher rental rate and good performance in its hotel business. It has budgeted Bt10bn for a five-year investment plan. It plans to develop markets, hotels, and offices for rent in order to support growth. (Khao Hoon, 18/08/16)
PTTGC
PTTGC expects 2H16 earnings to improve on full utilization rate for both petroleum and refinery units. It expects new projects at home and abroad to begin contributing revenue. (Thun Hoon, 18/08/16)
RML
RML says it has presales of Bt5.65mn, of which it expects to transfer Bt5bn this year. It expects 2016 revenue to be close to last year’s. It is budgeting Bt3bn to buy land to develop new projects. It expects continued growth in3Q16 earnings. (Thun Hoon, 18/08/16)
TTCL
TTCL informed the SET that one of its subsidiaries, Global New Energy TOGO Co., Ltd., has been awarded the Grid Connection Acceptance Certificate for its investment in a 25MW solar farm in Japan, investment value of US$86mn, with a 20-year concession period. (SET, 17/08/16)

TU expects 3Q16 earnings to be good backed by large orders on seasonality. It expects sales to grow 15-20%. It plans to implement risk management to protect against currency fluctuation on investments abroad. It targets a margin of 15-16%. (Thun Hoon, 18 /08/16)

VTE expects a doubled growth in 2H16 from EPC. It expects net profit to return to the black this year from last year’s net loss of Bt106.14mn. It expects 2016 revenue to reach Bt2bn with backlog of Bt600mn. It plans to wipe out retained losses of Bt159.73mn. It expects its acquisition of a power business abroad to wind up this year.
