Comment: Markets and financial figures are telling a different story. The issue in the retail market is that they are charging companies to list products fees that are 10x higher than a decade ago, and so you’re seeing higher costs towards the consumer, and consumer product firms are not going to list new products. Plus in Thailand you only really have 4 players to list items, The Mall Group, Central Group, BJC (i.e. charoen) and 7-11. Not the best environment for growth.
FPT announced cash call via private placement 201.67m shares and 403.35m shares, pays Bt0.46 dps XD December 24.
Comment: Another cap raise by a company within this group
KBANK expects SME loan growth +1% yoy vs 2-4% previous guidance, stringent on credit approval to curbs NPL.
Comment: And this just points towards 1) lower income from banks 2) lower GDP growth
KTC said BOT’s new refinancing scheme won’t cause any adverse impact on its profitability, credit card spending remain strong.
Comment: Well it would if the interest charges decline
PTTOR, a pending listing unit of PTT, plans to open 450 Café Amazon both at home and abroad next year, from the current 3,200 stores.
SEAFCO expects to win additional contracts from express way authority (EXAT) for Rama 3 tollway foundation work before end of year, sees more to come from current bidding 117 projects worth Bt21.1b, anticipates all time high revenue next year above Bt3b.
Comment: And they keeping winning, but the question has been the valuation of SEAFCO for the past 2-3 years.
SELIC reaffirms Bt1.4-1.5b revenue target this year, sets double digit growth next year and seeks M&A opportunity.

Comment: Should they get their corporate governance in order, then this company would be more widely held by the market.

If you think they can maintain profits of THB 400 mn for the next 3 years and still have a decent backlog, then its fairish. Should profits/backlog waiver in either way then well…
