AMATAV reported 2017 earnings of Bt422mn, up 585% from last year thanks to booking Bt642mn from land sales, implying growth of 81% and driving total revenue to grow 30% to Bt1.17094bn. At the same time, it cut expenses by 40%. (Khao Hoon, 14/02/18)

ASAP
ASAP is working with a Chinese partner to further expand its car rental business. It says 1Q18 results will be good as demand for car rentals is high. It targets 2018 revenue to grow by 25-30% from last year and plans to open ASAP Auto Park in April 2018. (Khao Hoon, 14/02/18)

Comment: Out of all the banks this is the only one that I view is capable of achieving this target because of the natural relationship with Japanese corporates in Thailand
CENTEL
CENTEL has budgeted Bt2.3-2.5bn to expand its hotel and food businesses. It targets occupancy rate at 81-82% and will provide management service for one hotel in 2018. SIMAT is transforming its business strategy to drive an earnings turnaround this year. It says it is going to receive a big project in Malaysia and expects to close the deal for the acquisition of Silk Screen Printing in 1Q18. THAI projects a rise in load factor during Chinese New Year to 83% as it has increased flights to China. It expects this will drive load factor for 1Q18 to 80%, which is higher than 1Q17’s. (Khao Hoon, 14/02/18)
