CPALL
CPALL sells 230.24mn MAKRO shares or 4.80% a price below market at Bt44 for a total of Bt10bn. This is to increase liquidity. CPALL received dividends of Bt20bn. (Kao Hoon, 29/3/18)
Comment: The next round of MAKRO sales can’t happen for another 90 days from this transaction, regardless, CPALL will continue to do this in order to pay down the debt taken on to acquire MAKRO all those years ago
DEMCO
DEMCO is certain that its 2018 earnings will grow strongly, driven by Bt4.3bn in backlog, 70-80% of which will be booked as revenue this year. It also plans to bid at new auctions this year. (Kao Hoon, 29/3/18)
Comment: So it looks like things are finally getting better for this little contractor, the foundations are supposedly going to be fixed between April to August/September and then this overhang is gone.
HOTPOT
HOTPOT to be renamed to JCK Hospitality or JCKH. It is certain that earnings will turn around in 2Q18. It also plans to buy a new restaurant business. (Thun Hoon, 29/3/18)

S to invest Bt20bn into M&A to boost foreign portfolio to 50%. It also targets revenue of Bt20bn within two years. Its current backlog is at Bt14bn. (Thun Hoon, 29/3/18)
TOA
TOA is certain that its 2018 revenue will grow 10%. It plans to expand its markets in Thailand and ASEAN countries. It also plans to invest Bt400mn to increase productivity. (Kao Hoon, 29/3/18)
Comment: I think investors could be (positively) surprised by how they perform in other countries in the coming years.
