HMPRO targets 2016 earnings to be higher than 2015 with 10% revenue growth. It expects SSS growth of 4%. It has budgeted Bt7-7.5bn to open new branches and BIKE CLUB and new DC which is expected to handle 150 branches. (Khao Hoon, 02/03/16)

BBL awaits JAS borrowing plan – JAS Mobile Broadband, a bid winner of a 900-megahertz spectrum licence, has yet to submit a new business plan to Bangkok Bank (BBL) to raise its loan amount over 70 billion baht from 40 billion. (Bangkok Post, 2/3/16)

KBS is budgeting Bt6bn to invest in new sugar plants. It expects 2016 net profit to return to the black after the 2015 net loss of Bt50mn, aided by recovery in demand and price and booking revenue from selling 22MW electricity. Comment: Another stock divvy…well their #’s were no surprise given the backlog it had on hand. The question is only how can they scale?

PHOL got a sewage disposal plant project, valued at Bt50-100mn. It plans to focus on sewage disposal plant projects this year. It expects this to contribute Bt500mn in revenue. Comment: My head now cocks to the left whenever I hear about Thai companies expanding to do solar power projects in Japan, the Japanese themselves a 0.0000000000000000001% cost of financing and yet are not all over these farms..
SYNTEC
SYNTEC expects to get 18-20 new projects, valued at Bt10bn. It expects this to support its revenue growth of 5% from 2015’s Bt7.37bn. It expects to recognize profit from higher occupancy rate in its residential business. It plans to launch a new phase in its residential project. (Thun Hoon, 02/03/16)

TAKUNI

TASCO
TASCO expects asphalt sales to achieve 2.6-2.7 mn tons (+15%) this year backed by high demand from abroad. It is budgeting Bt1.7bn for refinery improvement, buying 50 trucks, and IT improvement. (Khao Hoon, 02/03/16)
Comment: There was an interesting tidbit from TASCO that because it has successfully been awarded a regional headquarter and Trading hub by the government it will save some THB 1 bn a year from taxes.
TICON
TICON expects 2016 revenue and net profit to be better than last year. It targets to expand WH and RBF by 280,000 sqm. It is talking to a partner in Vietnam. It expects a decision to be made by mid-2016. It plans to sell Bt3bn in assets to an REIT in 4Q16. (Khao Hoon, 02/03/16)
